Hi Jeff
Welcome to KB. The locals are a bit slow in replying but just so it doesn't look like you are being ignored...

Sorry but I'm tied up Saturday (and far tooo nana to leave rubber on the road) - if it is good enuf for the tyre to have chicken strips, who am I to grind them off  See you around some time.

Would love to come, but Im on the wrong Island, I MISS CHCH/CANTERBURY. Spend 5 years there and learned to ride in the area on my Norton 850 commando. Have many fond memories of trips to Akaroa. Certainly would love to run the Duke over that track. I feel a big trip calling.... yep, only 1000miles from here, no sweat. Yep, sandwiches, sleeping back, map (forget the map, I'll find the way, head south), pre-paid tyre for the trip home, just about covers it, now, excuse for sick leave for a month, hummmmmmm.
seriously, welcome to the madhouse
Have a great ride and hope you can hook up with some like minded riders.
PS, Love ya bike, think Aprillia to replace the Duke, but not just yet :weep:

yeah...had to escape the heat, so at work too :crybaby:
but the OT is sweet :niceone:
...it might contribute a little to my extremely HUGE visa bill after new helmet/gloves/packrack/tyre in the last month or so, damn bikes are expensive at times

Oh yeah great day for it. Not too much traffic on the way over, but a bit on the way back. The wind was the worst part of it though.
I kept Jeff company, and held him up a bit. Sorry Jeff.
Looking forward to a few more trips over there and hope for a few more riders next time.

See ya.
