Sounds good to me, I am happy as a sandboy doing my own thing at the same time as being part of a group (if that makes sence? hehe) It allows stifarms to ride to his ability rather than kinda cruise with me.

You betta bring the book as JSG suggested from what I hear of your talented riding...

So Sunday it is at 9.30am.

CYA there.

apart from running low on treads in the middle... is that I have done 6'500k's on it. For me... they are not confidence inspiring. And they have a scary lean angle (dip) when you crank over too much.

Have had M1 front and Z6 Rear on my SV and was very very happy... hence going in that direction....

Is RR looking at some 014's? I say get the Z6 or M1 or mix... can't go wrong. Am getting them on Weds... will report shortly there after :)

Hmmmm, interesting. I lost all faith in the M1s riding Jimbo600s K5 at manfield in the manner it was meant to be ridden. I found them particularly squirmy and horrble. But then, at the risk of sounding like a wanker, I probably ride alot harder than most would.

The only experiance I've had with the 014s was doing that road test when the K4 600 was first released and I thought then that they were the mutts nuts.

Well, unfortunately I am home earlier than I would have liked.. What started out to be an awesome ride (I counted 21 bikes I think), rapidly dropped off by one just out of Tuakau (namely me!).. :crybaby:

Dam nail in tyre decided that it didnt want to stay in there and the rear tyre rapidly deflated and the wobble started around a long 65km/hr bend. Kept it together (even with a pillion) and had to come to a stop. Got it fixed (first time I have had to fix one on the side of the road), but decided it was better to turn around and head for home... Got back to the Autobahn at Papakura and the tyre went down again :argh:

Got it fixed a second time and just made it home. :done:

Thanks to the KB'ers that stopped and helped :niceone: and I hope I didnt hold the rest of the pack up for tooo long.. (on a Hayabusa - yeah right! :))
Never mind, hope to see you all the next time around....

Anyone know of a good deal I can get on front and rear Pilots this week?

For me well a crap day thanks to a incredibly stupid HP cop, dumb bitch got me at 140 KMph when I was going alot slower than that, and she was so good at speed checking bikes she can do it whilst behind another biker who was doing 125 kmph, how on earth she figured out 140kmph Im fucked if I know, I will be writing the appropiate letters tomnd talking to a laywer about that one.

Nice to see pics of my bike out on a ride - just a shame it's not me riding her. If anyone knows of a cheap bike for sale that will do as a commuter for WT please let me know. I'd really like to have my bike available for ME to ride on my days off.

Yup, true as that I am not that photogenic, although I make up for it by being drop dead gorgeous in person and a tiger in the sack!!!!

Yup, the VTR was a little tired after the workout I gave it and needed a cup of tea and a little lie down.....hehe

I did wonder where you had got to! hope you enjoyed the little bit you did get anyway (riding), glad you didnt join young Carl in some ditch somewhere.
Look forward to getting a better look at the 'Busa next time.

Awesome ride, cheers for everyone coming, it was the last one for me for a while (as well as the first....) Great riding by everyone, and hope to see you out there again eventually...
Good day out TS, many thanks and rep to you man.
I had a great time and so did my mate, thanks to everyone else who showed up and made the effort.
Carl if you are up for it, you can buy me a beer sometime but only if you promise not to need my 'special skills' again for a while! lol. I hope Jacqui (sp?) is ok now you are home.
Great to meet some KBers on the road (and off) at last, I look forward to the next one.
Cheers

Haha, yeah I was trying to have my own little targa rally despite only having one arm to hold the steerrng wheel, I remember going a bit hot into a L/H'r just before you wheelied past me!

Is quite good in the ute to think, "oh shit, coming in too fast" and just turn the wheel and understeer your way around, instead of a ass-puckering moment that you'd expect if on two wheels!

Good ride, great to be out with good people. Glad to hear that Carls on the mend.

GG good lines following you towards Ngaruawahia, before I stopped and kept someone company while he waited for gas.
