i have one but i bet its the wrong colour. mines white (pearl) and yours will be the interceptor colours. Not sure if that part of the bike is the same tho. Unfortunately they are as rare as hens teeth and I still have my vfr :( but i thought Id add a post to this just to keep it moving.............:D

Cheers Badlieutenant! I kind of suspected that they would be rare. One of those things that gets taken off and not put back on again (this means my hair is valuable???) :crybaby: .
Colour is not an issue since the bike is not a standard paint scheme and will have to be painted regardless.
Cheers again!

I got one on my bike ( and I am keeping it :2thumbsup ) but you could make a mold of it to make your own fibreglass one

Hey - cool! I'll keep that in mind, but I dunno about the metal hardware for the attachments though. I bet yours looks sexy! Don't leave it parked where I can see it though...:2thumbsup

Hmm , metal hardware?? mine just screws to the seat. the cover itself is just a bit of plastic with a tag at the back, 2 screws into the seat

The 2 "screw thingys" (very technical terms being used now - mainly to confuse any cagers viewing the site...) What do they look like up close?
A bolt/allen screw or something perhaps? The rest looks easy to make!

I have had a look at their site, but cannot find what I'm after. Will make contact with them and see if they have any ideas after the holidays.

All done at long last!

After starting out with a white fairing which had the rear tab smashed off, heat dent, and cracks, I had to fibreglass a new tab on + set right the dents before priming up for the paint.
The original VFR graphics were good, so were traced & used as a template for new ones.
The guys at Autopaint on Central Park Drive, mixed the colour match and put that into a spraycan for a good price.
Primer + topcoat = Viola!
On goes the new graphics courtesey of a signshops rubbish bin for a vynal [sp] silver offcut + a bit of time cutting to original template. Replace in original location.
The blue padding had multiple coats of VHT colour dye to be matching the seat.

Hardest job was re-tapping the thread in the seat "thingys"!

I'm happy!
