Long Story short, I need new rear shocks. Cycleworks don't rebuild un-rebuildable shocks anymore, the IKONs that replace the current one are $985, the Hagons are $395 but are 3 months away, and I have a WOF before then. They will fail.
Any ideas considered.

Are they twin shocks? If so what is the eye spacing and fitting type? I have some Konis in the shed. Eye on one end, fork fitting on other. Can't remember the length. let me know if they are any good to you.
3 months for the Hagons? Get on the Interweb thing and mail order them from from the UK or US. airmail is 3 weeks.
$985 for Ikons - the ozzie made (?) Konis? They aren't that good.

I'll send pictures and measurements, you're a gem!!
I don't have a credit card and no one, and I mean NO ONE will let you pay any other way than Paypal which you need a credit card to pay for. *sigh*
I know what you mean about the IKONs. I wasn't expecting that.

IKON are only a Hagon equivalent and the price should reflect that, for the money they're asking you can probably get the entry level Ohlins

$1200 for the Ohlins apparently. Haven't tried White Power or Progressive yet. Might have to send some money to a mate in the US I think.

You should be able to do it via a bank draft / TT. I think it costs $20 at each end to send and recive one - so it will push the price up by $40.
http://www.hagon-shocks.co.uk/HagShocksPr.htm note that they take bank transfers.
For the seller, a bank transfer is the best - they can't be charged back like a credit card can if it is a fraudulent sale.
Best bet is to find someone who can buy them for you on a credit card. The banks just about give the things away with the weetbix anyway.

Thanks for that. I've been in touch with Hagon UK and they won't do a Bank Transfer from NZ. Unreliable apparently. Part of the issue with the shocks I'm after is that Hagon UK have none available and have to manufacture them.
Bank draft is my last act of desperation.
I know what you're saying about credit cards, but never again! Evil things.things.

Dug out the Konis I had in the gargre.
325mm centres with a 22mm spaced fork with a 10mm hole on the bottom and a 12mm eye on the top.
On it is stamped:
7610P-1394 and 402
Specs at http://www.ikonsuspension.com/content/specsdet.html. Accoring to them, they are Suzuki GS750/ GSX750/ GSX1100/RE5 shocks, which I neve knew...
I suspect they may not be so good for you as http://www.ikonsuspension.com/content/bikes/honda.html lists different numbers for Hondas

They were fine until I ruptured them on the the bloody Te Marua roadworks. Fekking Supercross style yumps.
