Anyone out there got a pack rack (just the rack, not the brackets) and a bag I could borrow for a couple of weeks.

A ventura rack for an 89 gsxr 750 would be ideal. I'm not sure of the inter-compatibility between pack racks ??

Happily pay in a doz beers of your choice. :apint:

Oh by the way - This is for the south island trip. So I'd be looking at borrowing in two weeks, for two weeks.

Thanks all.

I gotta rack sitting in my garage. You can have the bloody thing. I knew it would come in handy for someone in time.

Can't help on the bag front though.

I've got the two venture zip together bags that go each side of the rack. You can borrow them if ya want. I didn't bother putting on a rack system on the SV1000s. Will check if they are still floating around when me gets home.

Heya White trash,

The company I work for has an office in Wellington... perhaps I could get it shipped up internally. Would you be interested in doing that ??

Sweeeeeet, Is it for a GSXR ???

It's for a 98 Bandit 600. I looked at the cross reference chart and the GSX-R and Bandit have different part numbers.

I'm happy to chuck it on a courier if you want to try it though.

I could be mistaken, but I seem to remember Motomail doing an exchange thing for packracks to suit different models. Another avenue to investigate.

Let me know.

Bugger Bugger Bugger, I've just confimred with DOLD industries that it will not fit. Also, motomail are no longer stockists of Venturer products. They got dumped for some reason.

Thanks anyway. :niceone:

Mate, buy a tailbag. Oxford make a couple of beauties. They come with an external overcoat for when it's raining and built-in bungies. You can't use with a pillion in situ, but then again you ride a sportsbike with a particularly hard pillion perch and precipitously high rear pegs.

precipitously high rear pegs

I do not think that word means what you think it means.
