Alan Wilkinson has a bit of history on this site.

Do not get caught up in the hype, and nobody draw attention to Kiwibiker. We do NOT need another round of mudslinging like the last one.

He's the guy responsible for the website. It seems like a good idea, but he wants is actually anaethema to motorcyclists. He wants a half dozen Autobahn type motorways and no twisty roads. Plus an invasion of Poland before Christmas.

Me i actually think the speed in NZ is ok.... its the sheer fact that all the corners are being taken out of our roads that pisses me off.
Dunno about those cell-phones stats though.... i mean how would people feel if i adjusted my carbs while riding

He lost my support when he started going on about PPI roading and other ACT related policies.

Guy sounds like a dickhead.

Seems to take the old LTSA pretty personally...quote "Death of an Enemy - LTSA Scrapped". Doesnt he know that the only thing that changed was the letterhead.

There will still be PLENTY of m/c freindly alternative routes, roots etc etc ect.....................:doobey: One of his more strongly worded posts demanded that all secondary routes be closed in favour of mega-highways, paid for by RFI tags on all vehicles. Twisty roads kill people and must be banned or straightened. He just wouldn't see why us motorcyclists wouldn't like that.

Actualy I wouldn't mine some autbahn type roads. Just for us though. Getting rear ended by some dick at 150+k's is not my idea a rectal enema. Some of his stats are interesting. If I remember correctly he's a statician. He lost my support when he started advocating the user pay principle.

Long wide roads with no corners?
What a brilliant way of upping everyone’s driving skill!
Maybe we should have little slots cut into the lanes and pins sticking out under our mummy busses (Mitsubishi Chariot type things) to help us further?
