Well, i couldn't resist no longer;

After meeting Patrick at AMPS on there open day, i said i was keen to have a test run on there 600rr; Unfortunately she'd been in a stoppie; But as soon as it was repaired he'd give me a call. Well Monday i got the call and today at 1 i was out on her like a good thing;

Back 20 mins later, sorted out a trade in for the beautiful '99 cbr6f ( and boy a good trade in too ) ...sorted out the finance and arranged to call back at 5 tonite; After being given the demo for the avo while they did the service check on the f4.

So back at 5:30 to pick her up and with 3.5k's on her, a grin from ear to ear on me we hit the road home, the wrong/Long way! :banana:

Well i'm one happy boy, and i have to give it to AMPS/Patrick for making my compulsive buy so easy and enjoyable!

Heres to a long relationship with my new baby(yet to be named)

More pics to come :rockon: http://www.motorcycletrader.co.nz/DesktopDefault.aspx?UsedBikeID=1168509&TabID=3553&Alias=motorcycletradernz

I did have a quick look at the gixxers, then i started to think about the 636's.... it all became too confusing and after i read the article posted on here comparing the '05 rr, gixxer, r6 and 636 I didn't know what to do. there opinion was the RR was better 'all round'.. who knows

I figured i'd fell in love a few months back with the RR i had to see it through.

Plus dover and you Enigma... those Gixxers of yours dont stay sunny side up for too long do they..what sort of an advertisment is that???? i can see it now

Suzi's.....GO FAST Flat on your back

Total rip-off of the '04 R6 scheme if you ask me...'bout time too, why should you be limited in choice of looks for the bike that suits you...pity we still are in this country though.

Lucky for me she doesn't like sitting on the back of sport bikes. Something to do with the cramped sitting posture, but you could ask her. Maybe then I'de have a chance to keep up with you.

Maybe..... :ride:

Heheh sitting in the pilot's seat of sportbikes isn't exactly luxury on yer butt either! Sitting on your bike or Slash's feels like a big comfy lazyboy to me....

See ya next weekend and if nothing else Ange is welcome to have a sit on the CBR and make "Brrrmr brrrrm' noises :doobey:

EDIT: Sorry for the hijack Boomer! This thread's supposed to be about your (velly velly nice) new toy! :whistle:

You know Inline4 that once they do get on the bikes they'll be leaning them and riding them harder than there old man!!

Had a beaut of a ride out to wellsford today, thanks Enigma51 and Murray...!!! The bike inspires confidence. Leaning over that front wheel like that and dipping into corners is like nothing i've felt before. Big ups to the cbr600f but this is a whole new ball game :2thumbsup

Managed to scrub in the tyres, stick 300k on the clock and become a little more intimate with 'bess'..all good.
Met some kb'ers up at Shell Westgate too.. :rockon: :rockon: and the odd one or two lurking at colemans
