Was down at VINZ in Chch today getting my bike through the system. The bloke in front was from a dealer and luckily got 2 rego's, 12*** AND 13*** so I was 14 :blip: I'm not really supersticious but wouldn't want #13 on my bike :nono:

So I'm now cert'd, rego'd and wof'd and ready to roll and

And hi to the rider on Marshlands Rd that gave me a huge thumbs up just gone 9am :wavey:

Hope to meet up with some KB'ers in Cantab and further afield now

Any sort of drama going through? Just asking as I have to do the same with mine soon.

Nah, PoP. The crate was delivered and left to one side for MAF, and it was 'perfect', I'd jet washed it and then soaped and waxed it and cleaned off the wheels with parafin and then a spray of Jayes. VINZ faxed a brake delcaration form to local shop who checked the pads and disks and filled form. Dropped bike off at VINZ, he checked my passport, and I had my UK V5 registration doc, MAF cert, and also an email I had (I'd had confirmation that the e sticker on the frame and the V5 satisfied build compliance). Wandered off into Chch, two hour later got the call all done. Cost just under $300.
