A friend of mine has quite a few on-board videos of his MV F4 at my www site. A good mixture of track and road ones. He's a good artist so the editing is quite good. He's actually putting together a dvd of them all for sale (not expensive just enough to cover his costs).

Wow Owl,that's just fantastic,I've been waiting to see those photo's again for awhile. Can I grab some? I'm getting tired of my Bart wallpaper.Pine trees at Rosebank, that's going back a few years eh? It's a pity I missed most of those years, but the Smith and I decided we wanted to do trials,so that's where we were every sunday instead. Then we went to Waiheke - but I finaly got to do my flattracking on the local dirt track, got the bike set up well with some input from a couple of Rosebank No1s - you and Bruce.

I'll save the site and show it to Dave next time he drops in,he'll be chuffed to see photo's of himself racing - specially the one where he's pushing you out! That trackmaster looks like it was made for you - tempting?

Ah the Trackmaster, the frame with a brain.I tried buying it at one stage $10,000 and it still had my tyres on it  Help your self to the photos, Chris Th. took most of them. Check outwebshot's "Ducatim49" site, lots of old American flattrack photos.
I've ordered a flattrack seat for the SR from Holland of all places. It's made in Japan but cheaper to buy from any where but Japan, something to do with export prices and domestic prices, seems they sting the hell out of themselves to cover their low export prices (over $200 difference).
SR is starting to look awfully like a racer. Myboss won't be pleased.

Owl, re the racing at Rosebank Rd - how did the flattrack lap times compare with the speedway times? I rode the skids at Te Marua for a long time with minor (pretty minor) success. Still, someone had to make the winner look good, eh?

I can't remember the lap times but I do remember they were the same as the third grade solos.
I think I've got a photo of one of those with a madman on it.

www.bobpickett.co.uk/bkit/index.html

Is a site put together by a mate called Bob who writes for a couple of Brit bike mags.So far just a few product/ reviews ,couple of them mine including the Fazer report,Bob`s old bike pictured though ,not mine and a message board used by me,Bob and Wari right now but anyone else want to contribute anything at all is more than welcome.

www.usedbikeguide.com is the site of a mag I`ve written for over the years, plenty of bike reviews on here,3 0r 4 of mine on bikes I`ve owned.

Anyone into Classic stuff, try www.realclassic.co.uk some good stuff on here and the message board is a good combination of useful, off the wall and funny, users tend to be really helpful.Classic by the way covers anything, few enthusiastic Guzzi riders on there,XS650`s too.If you`re a harley rider though they`ll rip the piss something chronic, but then you`ll be used to that.I use this one all the time, just to wind them up when I go into one of my "Why my 2002 Fazer is a classic" rants.

I think Moko might have mentioned this before, but if not...

Motobke.co.uk (http://www.motobke.co.uk)

is something we've been building up gradually.

It covers bike road tests (by real people, rather than the usual "We went to a nice race track and got presents from the manufacturers" stuff in the glossies!), product/kit reviews and pretty much anything else related to bikes!

BIG thing I would say here - if anyone owns a bike and would like to review it for the site, I would LOVE to hear from them! The more reviews the better!

The whole idea of the site was for people like us who ride on the roads to say what we think of bikes we've owned, clothing we've bought and that sort of thing.

I've put some rough guidelines on how many words, photo sizes etc. Don't worry about making it a work of art, that's my job!

Anyway, sorry for the sales pitch - but I really would like to get as wide a range of stuff from as many people as possible on there. The more people that contribute, the more useful the site is for everyone.

Anyway, have a look at the site (http://www.motobke.co.uk) and let me know what you think.

50 Engine Rebuild pics of a 1988 GSXR 750 if anyone is interested.
+ 5 of the completed bike, nice looking and really quick.
Ended up being a 774cc

http://www.hodgeman.co.nz/GSXR/Rebuild_GSXR.htm

I little project my brother put together for me over the course of 4 months,
Had it for a couple of months then upgraded to the 1998 GSXR 750.
Felt soo bad after all the hard work the old fella put into it.

Enjoy
