Then do something about. Don’t just bitch and moan to each other in the forums.
Got a problem with a post, then hit the "report bad post" button at the top left of the post. This sends an email to the forum moderator/s and all Senior Mods & Admins. Or if you need to contact one of the site leaders via PM or email, then follow the chain of command. Moderators, Senior Moderator then Admins.
Got a problem with the site or member, then PM a Senior Mod or Admin. If they can’t help you they will contact me.
Got a problem with a moderator, then PM me with enough detail to deal with the problem. What, when, where. Include a link so I don’t have to go searching for what your talking about.
Only myself and wari send members to the sin bin, and it's rarely used. There are no criteria for binning, we just make a descision at the time.
If you never PM one of the mods, how do we know there is a problem? Read everything that gets posted? Bugger that!

I have lots of problems with this site, they start with democracy and end with self serving moderators

If you have a serious problem - you should pm one of the Administrators, Spank or Wari.

You cannot be positive they will see your thread...There are over a thousand posts a day...

Hi there
I have searched the site looking for the answer on how to change the Main thread title?? Can this be done?
It is this title (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?p=720106#post720106)
If you see the title it currently says Hawkes Bay ride this Sat (19th) or Sun (20th), I want to know if I can change it, or is it a mod thing only?
I have changed the subtitle though
Cheers and appreciate your assistance

Half of these have been answered already, but I thought I'd include them in one place for my clarity. I think most people would feel better about mods if they had a little more info about the role that mods perform, requirements of them etc. They seem to have carte blanchse to do as they please (although this is not the case - it just seems that way to some people)
Who appoints mods?
Are they held accountable?
Who monitors them?
Do mods have a timeframe (term of office) in which to be mods?
What can mods do?
Is there a full description (FAQ) about mods? Perhaps (unlikely) then people would be less inclined to be arses if they were just directed to the FAQ.
And all the other questions that I don't know to ask coz they haven't popped into my head or I have been stimulated (by healthy debate) to ask...

Colapop - I am working on a document that will answer these questions... it will be posted as soon as its done. Sorry guys a little full on at the mo, will finish it in the next few days. Once its done we will post it in the FAQ's as well.
So no need to worry about this, its being handled as we speak errr typre! :done:
