Only a concept bike at this stage, dubbed a "hypermotard"

Very cool, AND it doesn't look like a piece of post moderne sculpture that got blown over in a gale.

to me it looks like a road bike with a high front mudguard. why call it motard. motards are purpose built Dirt Bikes that have street tires on it thats well its a street bike with -------street tires and funny mudguards.

i think it looks cool though but if it ever gets raced it will kill motarding cause no dirt bike with street tires will get past that.

It looks like they are trying to compete with the KTM super duke

yeah i like it. i was looking at getting a Super Duke but wasn't too keen about the handling problems (speed wobbles) at speed. I know they are ment for corners and they are more fun around the twisties then anything. I wonder how this Duc will compare.

But how will it handle the dirt sections and jumps?
And it weighs a bit more than a KTM 700 with around 90 odd HP.

But for road use :2thumbsup

I'm not going to get into what defines a Motard again, I have to go to work soon (on my Gilera Nordwest Motard :D)
