View Full Version : Double posting messages

For the past 48hrs or so, every time I post a message in a thread, I get the 'you can only one post every 30 seconds' message, accompanied with 'you can repost in 29 seconds'.
If I search the thread, I see that my post has been, well, posted, but if I wait the 29 seconds and repost, I end up with a double post, and have to delete one.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Me too...I have been experiencing this too and then getting a message after saying something like duplicate thread and being directed to the first one.

I suspect it to be the Flame Warrior code I added yesterday. It has been disabled so let me know if it stops.

My post count has lessend. Not that I have a problem with that due to the amount of shyte I used to post, but it'd be nice to know why...

Posts in Pointless drivel don't get added to your post count. So when threads get moved there, your post count will drop if you had posts in that thread.

Since I have reciently done amore than my fair share of pointless dribbling. One other thing that I have just learnt, if I put a user onto my ignore list, then all their rubbish, along with their neg rep disappears. I have only one person on it and hopefully one day he will be able to be removed, I'm an optimist...

I'm trying to track down what was causing the problem, so let me know if it starts happening again.
