is the day that the police can suspend a drivers licence (roadside suspension)for 28 days for doing 40kph over the speedlimit
That is 40kph over the posted speedlimit - 90 in a 50 zone, 70 in a 30kph posted zone.
Same applies to 130mg/100ml of blood or 650mcg/litre of breath
this used to be 160mg/100ml
I dont have any prob with the alcohol level - but the sppedd limit will reduce further in the future.
Just so you all know. 40kph over the limit - WALK HOME

FUCK!! i am sick and tired of all these new laws that they are bringing out its frecken bulls**t and im sick of it ! cant they just accept the fact that people dont die because of speed people die cause they are dumb! maybe if they wanted to bring the death toll down on motorbikes they should put a new law
IF you pull out infront of a motorcycle then they have every right to get up and beat you if you kill them when yoo pulled out infront of them then thier family can beat you till you can no longer walk
no lets see how many cars pull out infront of motorcycles huh!!
mumble mumble argh mumble fuckin politic bullshite

Exactly Lou! And the astute business people among us will set up seminars and practical courses in police evasion techniques, also known as 'runners' Theory and practical courses will deal with such issues as:
-optimal plate mounting angle
-what to look for in a chain lube to spray on your plate, to ensure maximum filth pick-up
-power-to-weight ratios and you (and the cops): you can do iiit!!
-high-speed lane splitting
-off-ramp selection
-red-light running
-ideal hiding places
-temporary plate-hiding measures (wheelies)
-180 degree stoppies for those tight situations
-and the biggie: Losing the Eagle Helicopter: Badge of Honour :niceone:
LB, got a job for you.
Yup, 'tis sure gonna be a safer place to live thanks to the campaign on speeding :niceone:

Word straight from a cop-friend's mouth. "If you get sprung at sub-orbital speeds, take it on the chin (bearing in mind your demerit status), BUT at supra-orbital speeds you might as well do a runner (he would) since you are fucked if you stop for them & their instruction is to not pursue at 'dangerous speeds' ."

If that's the way you think, perhaps it's time to change your signature - "one bike, one licence, one life - save it for the track" - yeah, right!

That's not how I read his post. But it is a fact, people will run because they'll think their licence is gone anyway.

how many riders with the balls and ability --would be stupid enough to say theyd done a runner on a public forum????
In the city you have 3 minutes then ya might as well stop and hand em ya keys-- the radio is faster than the best bike

who would break the limit by 40kph - well if you believe most of the posts on this site then just about everyone here.
Then again a lot of them are obviously wishful thinking, hoping , or maybe just bullshit.
I was just pointing it out now that a date has been announced in the hope of someone saving their licence
