Ok the shearers should be finished tomorrow. So are we going for a ride on da bikes to Taupo on Sunday? I am keen and I have two others keen. I was thinking of going to the Tea rooms at the Napier end of the plains. But I suppose it would be good to have a look at the new race track.
Lets gather at the Bay View BP at 10.30 Leave at 10.45 and have lunch. Then home.
My son Patrick is coming and is on a 250 so I am happy to ride with a slow group to Taupo and back. The quick bikes can meet us at the summit kiosk and then in Taupo??????
So if you are keen please send a note and I will have some idea of how many. Bring anyone that wants to come as we are a mixed riding speeds anyway.
Note the slow riders with me so you can come and play on your 250's or if you are a slow rider with a big bike come and join in. The faster riders will set a good pace if you want to go at 100 all the way.:2thumbsup
This is the chance to ride the Taupo road at a nice speed. I will stay with the slower riders. Promise.:yes:
Great chance to ask questions and talk about road lines etc. If you have wanted this chance before, now is the time. It might not happen again for a while.
