Hey Darren,
Good work! :2thumbsup Thanks for setting this up!

A suggestion/idea would be to find out how long different people have been riding and what sort of riding they have done ie. mainly town, mainly open road, confident or not, learner or seasoned. I'm guessing that most riders would be on a Learners or Restricted License if they have a 250 (I know this isn't always the case though!) and within that I'm sure there would be a wide range of capabilities and riding hours.

It would be good if newer riders felt it was ok for them to turn up - I dunno if that's what you're thinking or not. What sort of direction did you want this to take? Were thinking more just a social get together & a ride for riders of 250's? Or riding, socialising and information.

For me as a fairly new rider it's really good when other riders can give me riding and maintenance tips, so having the chance to do that would be good. Not sure how that would be done though.

Cheers Cathy :D

the whole idea was to let learners
and 250cc bike riders get together
and ride and talk.

its great to have a ride with bigger bikes
but we cannot keep up with them and from what I have sean
in the few months i have been riding
people on smaller bikes try to do this.

Im a learner and dont know that much about engines
and I geuss there are people out there the same.

I have got TSS Motorcycles behind the 250 idea
so they can help with all questions on repairs etc.

also at the moment they have a free sprocket and chain
check up, so we should all look at taking our bikes in for a check up.

we can talk about all these ideas on sunday
I look forward to it.

This all sounds great! :Punk: I definitely won't be able to make this Sunday sorry, my bike needs a new chain so I'd better not ride her too far until that happens.

Have fun & I hope Ivy is all out of gusto by the time she reaches here!
