This would have to be my favourite Ducati, the 2006 MS4R monster.
I say the sexiest naked bike currently available.

Ohlins front and rear, radial brembo brakes, 999 testastreta engine...makes TL's look a bit limp wristed

It's got the bits over the likes of TL's and so forth but no doubt that's reflected in the price. Still looks a bit 'soft', 'sad' almost.

Nice but not sure about the oil cooler hanging off the front cylinder and exposed oil lines, looks a bit easy to break.:nono:

I agree, also on this veiw you can see the radiator looking ungainly and vunerable, the air cooled version looks neater around the engine but lacks the power or other goodies...it's still looks great!

It looks like the motorcycling equivalent of a pair of ankle high white cowboy boots, with extra tassles.

Fair amount of homophobia in here tonight...the MS4R also comes in black for those who worry about there sexuality
My rep points much like myself seem to be having a holiday

And a possible option is the 999 engine in the HyperMoto.
But it really needs to be the aircooled 1000.
Much cleaner/no rads and still plenty of go.

This Aprilla looks better...
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Motorbikes/Motorbikes/Sports-tourer/auction-40786270.htm
Both capture me, and just because Ive moved on from my Duke doesnt make me confused or suddenly anti Duke, I simply love the italian bikes, but I think the new Duke has it slightly over the Aprilla in looks, but thats really personal taste I believe. Now interesting will be to compare performance, isnt that where its at? Hence my change from the '94 Duke to the '99 TL for exactly the same price, TL way out performs the Duke and the TL is far sexier, just for a comparision of two bikes at exactly the same pricetag.

From the 2 Ducati's I'v owned I'd put the Money on a TL motor every time . EG Kane the fuck out of any Ducati motor & see how it stand's up to it . You'll be doing Shim check's every 7k even less if you have a 2 valve to keep it in tune . A TL would laugh at been kaned & keep on Humming ! Fact ! Still Excellent biketho , thought about one myself a while back but that's as far as I got .

Cannot argue with that, the Ducati I owned was tempermental, expensive to service and agricultural...they still have a pride of ownership that I have not experienced with a japper.

MS4R : Prob only change the colouring (coloring) of the striping to black, or yellow, or maybe even orange...
I'd buy it for a dollar.
