The all important 10,000th Kilometre.
I clocked mine on the east by west, doing a wheelie on the SV.
Actually I did about 40 wheelies.......But I can confirm, I was wheelying when the 10,000 ticked over.
No wonder my steering head bearings were rooted.
Damn, no bike today yet, if I have tomorrow - I'll be there.

Well, Im still keen at this stage, its a bit chill but fu*k-it its dry and not windy (yet)...
Im thinking of leaving work (Gracefield) at about 5pm-ish, probably stop at Caltex (around) 25mins later...gas up and head up the hill.
The start time is negotiable if others are coming along.

To be honest Im pretty poor at judging the road surface so I didnt notice how oily. This contributes to the limited speed in which I ride. Its funny what you think about when you ride sometimes.
They have taken one of the passing lanes out (well signposted) to facilitate the repair of the barrier where the ute departed (Im guessing)...something to watch out for. They diluted the yellow 'please dont pass' paint, so now its a great big yellow skid mark. I would hate to think what evils they used.
