I'm getting my share of the pie due to the generocity of a very kind KB member. I am not sure if I am supposed to say anything but it looks like things are looking up for me as well... Finally! After nearly having to give it all up due to lack of funds... In the begining I wasn't fond of this idea as well but now I see the positive side of it.

Will keep you guys updated as soon as I can.

I have to say that I am very impressed with what Speedmedic has done. I paid $250 for similar race training day with Fred Merkel so I'm getting a bargain for my $150! The fact that the money is going to a good cause is even better!

So pull a finger and come up with a plan instead of raining on other peoples parade. Successful sponsorship is all about being able to offer something in return.

ive tried to stay out of this as much as i can, but i think i need to say a few things..

1) Shawn and Jason may have not done much for KB in the past .. thats true.. give them a chance.. the relationship looks like its off to a flying start..KB's name will get out there thanks to these guys and we will get more members.. more members = more donations to the local racers.. trickle-down economics

2) if you think your local racer is getting shafted.. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! have a bike wash/ auction/raffle/ bake sale and donate the proceeds. i am personally going to help a few this year when finances allow (after xmas) or i will help out in the pits or in thier sheds after/ before a race.

3) got to the race meetings and cheer them on..even a " good job" when you walk past them after a race will do wonders to boost thier spirit. " they didnt say hi back..!!!" so fucking what? get over yourself and let the racer have his moment and realize its NOT ALL ABOUT YOU!


i think we could possibly even front up and get our racers some stickers/ patches to wear on thier bikes or leathers..

there are alot of things we, as an individual can do to support our racers.. pick one and stop fucking whining about it
