Well.....
My bike was struggling to stay at 110km in 6 gear and I though, hey it must just be gutlless, in 5th and 4th I had plenty of power and it was really easy to pass but once I got into 6th she would just fade back to about 100 and wouldn't budge also its wouldn't idle. So I pulled the the spark plugs today and one was sopping wet, so I thought hey that is odd, and another odd thing was that 2 plugs were dp8ea-9's and the other 2 were dpr8ea-9's I don't know if that makes a difference but I put all dpr's in it So I started it up and it sounded heaps different and it sat there happily idling at about 2500 rpm. I was like hey something has deffinatly changed so I jumped on and took it for a bit of a blat. 1 word.....
INCREDIBLE, I couldn't believe it, it was like a totally different bike was sitting at 100 in 6th pulled back on the throttle and was doing 170 in no time at all (on a private road of course). My bike is warming up heaps quiker now, it was smoking like a mother for the first couple of km's turns out it was just oil on the exhaust manifold.
It was costing me about $19 to do a 160km trip so it will be good to see what kind of milage I get with all four cylinders working now.

They do go much better when running on all the cylinders they have fitted, eh??!
I had a problem with a dicky plugcap on the gixxer, it would cut in and out of 3/4 cylinders. Disconcerting when giving it a handful in a corner. Also tried to impress a pillion with it's 2-up speed....damn, could only get 190 out of it.

Jamiepo, on Sunday you mentioned toy mentioned you still had a intermitent problem on the way there with the rear left cylinder, how was it on the way back? I think you are going to to have to a little more fiddling.
