Just thought I'd say I'm still alive. (Just in case anyone's noticed I haven't been online for ages.)
I have been sleeping much better the last couple of months hence no time to log onto KB.
Not much news with me.
Still got the two Ducatis. Just had the 30,000km service done on the 800, and the 1000 is going in on Saturday for the 20,000km service.
Have done over 5,000kms in the last four weekends - some of it in very very cold and wet conditions but all very enjoyable.
Looking forward to the National Points rounds (going to all five - yay!!).
And looking forward to Wanganui on Boxing Day and the Taupo meeting on the 28th December.
And some riding around between Christmas and New Year.
Hope all's well with everyone - can anyone give me a synopsis of what's been going on in the last month?

Hello :) Sleeping not so well this morning then?
As for the synopsis, someone who has read all the threads might be a better candidate, but here's the basics: There was a load of bollocks talked, I left the UK for Europe, and some dude called Shaun Harris and some other fullah called SpeedMedic conspired to do some fundraising, and as a result we now have a Team KB, with Jason McEwen riding, as a sattellite of Shaun's Moto-Dynamix team. Oh and SpeedMedic managed to raise $4500 to get us naming rights by auctioning off places at a trackday with the aforementioned riders as tutors. Lots of people complained that it was unfair on the KB racers who were struggling, and that they should get the money, not Jason. Then a few more people decided to stop moaning and do something about it, so bought places at the trackday and gave them to the racers. In the end everyone was happy. And then TS got a ride on Team Moto-Dynamix's SV650 for the street races coming up. Which made lots more people happier.
Until the next fight anyway.
Use that as a metaphor for the rest of the threads....
Simple...

Hi Lynda, good to hear from you (not that you've been hiding from me). Tell me the sleep secret - I've been away so much lately I haven't been sleeping too well myself - didn't help that daughter dropped in on her way from ChCh to the Motorhead concert in Auckland off the ferry at about 1.20am and ended up home at about 1.45 and talked to me until about 2.30.

there are so many posts these days its hard to keep up with who has or hasn't been online. I just tend to skim a lot of posts and focus on the ones that catch my eye like this one.
Good to have ya back

Thanks for the updates guys/guyesses.
Be great to see Jason back on the track.
Not sure why the sleeping pattern has changed, but I'm feeling much better for getting an extra hour or two of sleep.
What? - will be bringing peaches - see you there.
