Has anyone had any experience of these Air Checker safety caps? Do they work? Thinking of getting some as Christmas presents.

no experience, but I reckon those anti-theft locking nuts you could get with buy now might be the bizzo

Realistically, you should be constantly checking your pressures, as they can really affect your ride, not be relying on something else....

Whats wrong with getting a tyre pressure gauge and doing it properly? I'd expect that they'd be a waste of time and perhaps not set for the PSI rating for a bike. Probably more for a cager and is the sort of garbage I'd expect to see on some cages...

I think they are are a poor substitute for a good quality pressure guage

Gimmick, get a good gage, good gages go great!

I have read elsewhere that these things have a habit of failing to retain the air in a wheel where the valve stem is in line with the radius of the wheel (quite common on motorcycles, as it happens)

Thanks "What" I KNOW to use a proper guage and have one, I just wanted to know if anyone had experience of these. Sounds like they are a bit dodgy if they can let air out so I will give them a miss.

But then you wouldn't be able to have a set of these!
