Oh wheel experts,

I have an Isuzu Bighorn (now thats a cage!!!) and am looking for a spare pair of rims to put knobblies on. The rims I have got have a series of numbers on the rim, ie:

J16X7JJ DOT TOPY 704 92 F3.8

From what I can guess these are:

J16X7JJ - 16" dim diameter, 7" wide (don't know what the Js are about)
DOT - ?
TOPY - Manufacturer ?
704 - ?
92 - year of manufacture ?
F3.8 - ?

Do any of these give the offset? or anything else of interest?

Thanks Vif, that is a really helpful site. You now have a get out of Purgatory-free card.
