That thing is absolutely mad !!
Hayabusa's eh ?
All the new sportbikes (1000cc) put out even more power now than a standard one and are way lighter to boot ???

AAAHHH yes,but they don't make the torque, try racing a K3 up to 300+k's,the busa should eat it,like my 12 used to.......

I checked the 'busa out at work, that is one wicked bike. Those wheelstands "look" effortless. My bike's fairly quick but looks positively wimpy in comparison.

Kee-rist, at that speed I'd be worried about the wind catching under the bike and sending me looping into next week :not:

I think it was faster than 200mph (320kmh) because you can see the speedo on the chase bike reaading 294kmh and that busa flys past...... zzzzzzzzzooooooooooooommmmmmmmm im thinking 350kmh

Don't quite know about 200mph wheelies but even at 150+ it's still not a problem getting wind under the bike. Sidewinds though . . :confused2 :shit:

What is the top speed of those machines?

Officially 299km/h (186mph).

Unofficially, if they've pushed the motor to 499hp, they've probably got rid of the speed limiter too. And geared them differently too.

I'd say no reason why they couldn't do 350km/h given the right road and conditions - Maybe more.

My bike makes less than half what those things make and I've been clocked at 312K at Pukekohe and it was still accelerating real hard so I'd say well in excess of 350K if you could get it to the ground, and find a bit of road long enough.

Just curious Speedpro, but how did you get 312km/h out of an MB100? :msn-wink:

it was being towed by a busa maybe?

You have to keep the corner speed up going into the back straight and then sling shot past another rider going into the kink. The MB was doing about 27,000rpm by my calculations. :innocent:

Yeah, the 12 was still sweet at 250kph,but the Gixx feels the wind at about 180kph,it actually holds it up,so you can go for ages :devil2:
Interestingly though, the Gixx is ok in sidewinds(on the rear wheel)where the 12 was almost impossible to keep on the road with even the smallest breeze
