Good Grief, do Pedestrians suck or what??! Don't you hate it when there are people wandering around in the middle of the road right near traffic lights.

There you are, turning into - Oh I dunno - Grafton Road, and some silly arse with a backpack on and light blue polo shirt is just standing there in the middle of the road when you need to do a U-Turn in a driveway so that you can go back down Khyber Pass...

So - come on - own up whoever it was with the KB sticker that nearly ran me over, and I'll give you bling cos I was wandering around so stupidly and you were so un-roadragey as to be awesome!

had one dressed fully in black step out in front of me tonight, at a ped crossing. shes lucky i was slowing for the give way on the other side of it. also had some dumb chicks walk out in front of a car against the ped. crossing lights while in levin. nearly rear ended the car due to their stupidity...they also gave me weird looks when i stopped at mickey d's for a coffee.

some really need a wakeup slap...look both ways and then cross...dont just step out.

I have hit a few peds now, one I'm the domain sent her to hospital for the night, one one short street was going around the corner and she was fucking standing in the middle of the road, I did a stoppie as I grabbed a fist full of brakes her hand that was out was pushed back by my bike, and another one on the corner of shortland street and queen st, people just walk across there all the time, i don't stop for them they are on the road just keep going with horn on, that was the one time people didn't jump out of my way.

Almost every morning when I'm turning off Symonds St down St.Martins lane where I work I will have at least one ped just walk straight across St.Martins without the slightest glance left or right.

Seeing as the bmmr is a big old girl I just keep going and enjoy the startled look, quick scuttle thing.

Its BAD for people walking across the road without looking in Kaitaia, so if any of you are ever up that way.. Look out.. Kerikeri is REAL bad, you'll be backing your car out of a carpark and someone lady with a pram and kid in tow will walk behind your car. Sometimes its like they want to be hit..

Hey, I come from Blenheim. Theres only 1 real ped crossing in the town centre, all the others a courtesy crossings!!

Pukekohe is full of them too......can cause a lot of problems as most pedestrians seem to think they are 'pedestrian crossings' (and walk out in front of you without looking) but as there aint many courteous drivers in Puke it can get nasty:slap: Don't get me started on the roundabouts....:bash:

Ped walks half way into the lane and then just stops and didn't even hint at taking a backwards step... "OK then - if that's how ya want's to play it"... very gentle drift to the left barely missing them. Out comes a very loud scream. I KNEW that I didn't run over their toes since their fat gut covered that area very nicely!:yes:

I hit a pedestrian on my FZ400 once, he walked out from between two vans, and didn't look in my direction at all, and I managed to slow to about 20 k from 50, and knocked him on his ass on Woodward road in Mt Albert, he got up looking very stunned, pulled his wallet out, and crammed about $400 dollars in small notes into my lap, and ran off very quickly. I was left in the middle of the road looking at this money between my genitals and the tank, whilst motorists honked at me from behind, as there was quite a queue behind me at this point.

I will never forget that day, I still have no idea what the money was for, I wonder sometimes if he just robbed a bank.

Hehe, it rates as one of the wierdest things that ever happened to me, but the guy just ran off, and I had no way of following him, so I just kept the dough. Thankfully the FZ was a nekkid bike, so the the impact didnt do any damage, which I guessed might have been why he threw the dough at me.
