And they have recently signed a contract with The Wharehouse for certain brands of clothing and I think bicycles aswell.

And Walmart is always closed on christmas. Thanksgiving and new years aswell.

Several US 'megachurches' are not going to have Christmas Day services.
One. with a weekly attendance of 22,000 people, has said that they expect attendance to be low on Christmas day and have advised their flock to stay home.
I wonder if the pastors have shares in Walmart?

Not much surprises me with American Christianity. They are more interesed in Mammon than man. Their idea of being a succesfull christian is how much money they give to the church. If you do not 'tith' you are not a true christian. If any of them get caught with their fingers in the till or under some little girls bedsheet they trump out the old excuse 'the devil tempted me' and their followers shout hallauja in unison and support. The concept of self responsibility regarding morals, is as unknown to them as an amoeba is aware of world at large, but when it comes self responsibility of others, these so called christians, are the first to lay blame on those less fianancialy fortunate than themselves.

Compassion and humility are replaced with fire and brimstone and anyone who shows a smidgen of independence is ostracised and cast out as if they are a lepar.

The bible is believed to be the literal word of God, not withstanding that it has been translated so many times that if it once was the literal word of God Christs teachings have been all but forgotten i.e Goodwill to all men. Just one of the teachings of Christ that the Christmas tradition expounds on.

I see my posts and Sixbackpack posts have been moved again. The name of the thread was COMMERCIAL CHRISTIANS and my posts were part of the comments associated with that thread. I have no idea who the moderator is who takes it upon himself to transfer my posts to the POINTLESS DRIVEL and start a thread under the heading PERSONAL ARGUMENT ABOUT RELIGION AGAIN.

First - to that person I say "identify yourself" so that me or one of our local Pastors can pay you an educational “visitation”.

Second – I don’t think you understand the love of our saviour enough (yet).

I have been around long enough to know the difference between piss-taking, winding up and good-natured banter; and what is just spiteful and bitter cuntishness. I have moderator powers. So whose complaining. I'm not. Seems when a good old slanging match is going on, and as far as I know no one is getting upset, we are told to toe the line or get sent to the naughty boys room. As far as I know there are no precondcitions prior to registration reguarding language, attitude etc. I'd like to go on record that out on the road I'll go out of my way to help any KB biker. Hell I'll even give them the shirt off my back, but here on the forum Ill cross swords with anyone and if there's blood on the floor it bloody well won't be mine.
