That defies logic, what would they hope to achieve.

Bet you're imagining what you could do to them with a pair of side cutters....

When I first seen it, first thought was if there is anyone who has the hankie out with busa pete for any reason.. Kind of odd that someone just snipped away like that.. Well least I think so anyways.. Maybe I'm just used to the "kick your doors in" type of vandals..

That's more than a little vandalism, that's down-right dangerous and vindictive.

11th December 2005, 15:23
yea, I think the police could file that as a very serious case to cause GBH - some people really fuck me off, I know how you feel - infact I have been feeling sorry for myself all day when a fellow biker at work decided that he would reverse into my bike and rip a shitload of paint off it - I rode home at night parked it up and when I got to work this morning I had 3 heart attacks in a row when I saw it - fucken cunts FUCKEN CUNTS

that hasto be a personal vendetta against you though surely thats fucken extreme as fuck, could have been some poofy honda riding being jealous humor aside, I would send you money but I am broke as fuck right now.

Someone needs to lay a trap for these fuckers. Park a sportbike up where you left yours, 2 or so large guys waiting in a darkened van. Wait to they arrive and make their move, jump out grab the fuckers and bundle them into the back of a van. Drive out to a deserted wood mill, place them bound onto a bandsaw with their head inches from the blade and fire it up. Should send a message.

Shit man. We had a great day yesterday and it was a pleasure to meet you guys. I am sorry to see that.

May I ask where was it parked when this happened?

Or have dogs and bike in garage. Works if your dogs are well behaved, and theres enough room.

Thats real bad luck mate. Really steams my kumera to hear bout stuff like this, although, judging by the extremity of the damage, it was prob done by someone with a fair idea bout bikes and a personal grudge.

John
11th December 2005, 16:11
is your bike loud? do you have mental fucked up neighbours - I'd do my damnest to find out what happened - but you seem ok with it good on ya.

Yea try beat deaths what was it 340 indicated ? burnout on the zx12.

11th December 2005, 16:25
WTF? You park your bike outside whilst the dogs get the garage???

U gotta get that shit sorted bro! I agree you need to share the Garage for the dogs & bike. Firstly the bike, Secondly the dogs!
Even better still. Get the dogs a run, biff the dogs in it, park your bike in the garage and get your garage alarmed!!! Too many fuckwits out there not to, let me know if you want a perky alarm installed on your garage, I can arrange for an Auckland security tech to give you a perk job.

Yup, my bikes locked, alarmed, brake locked, garaged, and then the garage is blocked by my vehicle (which is factory immobilized & weighs 2.5 tonne). I'm not paranoid, no siree.

That is so bizzarre, to carry wire cutters, OK, odd but understandable. Carry BRAKE FLUID? Now thats very strange, this person targeted you, and you have really pissed them off.
I would think about who you cut off or jumped at the lights, who may have followed you home. Not necessarily the night before.
(tie the dogs to the bike in the garage, might help) but I think whoever did this has done what they wanted to do, ie get your attention.
I vote for belated road rage

...SOME WHAT OF AN ANTICLIMAX TO THE WEEKENDWhoever did that to your bike Pete is an utter loser and deserves to have some part of his/her anatomy cut off as punnishment!

Was good spending the day with you two yesterday, just a pity it turned to custard for you. Hope you can get it sorted without too much hassle.

Why someone would do this is totally beyond me. I don't know what the neighbourhood is like, but it sounds dodgey. Thats just lowest of all low behaviour. I REALLY hope you find out who it was mate, I feel your pain.:bash:

we have had a few party's lately and noise control was rung we think maybe it was the person who rang them.our house is for sale when it sales maybe we should have a party and have a few kiwi bikers and give them something to call noise control on.

That's F*cking not on!! If it's about a party have another louder one. Have a look around who's got an eye out most of the time, I think you'll get an idea who it might be.

Sorry to hear that sort of sh#t.
My 2c worth. I would suspect it as some lowlife with it in for the bike as well as you, and knows a bike reasonably well. The average dickhead is more likely to slash the seat/tyres and scatch/brake fluid tour paintwork as they are the easier and more obvious target.
I could be right off track there, but have you pissed off anyone on a bike in the last week or two?

Pass anyone at excessively high speed did you?

Apex brake and clutch in Hamilton are the best of the cable repairers up your way. Should be easy to sort some lines out, solder the wiring up yourself :)

with any luck they got sprayed with brake fluid when they cut the hoses and it is slowly eating away their flesh

Thats not to harsh is it

If your bike will still be parked outside until you sell your house let me know if you want to borrow an infra red camera I have. You just need to plug it into a video recorder. I used it to identify a paper thief recently.

I'm not using it at the momemt so you can borrow it for a while.

What drives a person to commit such a horribly vindictive act like this?
Really disappointed to hear that someone could stoop to this level.
Still, BP seems to be taking it all pretty well. Good on ya ~ revenge just leads to another revenge leads to another...

340 indicated burnout to rid yourself of that rear tire!?

plus any other KBs who have tires to destroy could make an evening of it!

Sucks to hear about that and to me it seems as though the person is a biker to know enough to soak the tire in brake fluid etc

If my job interview goes well tomorrow, and his house doesn't sell till sometime next month, I'll be needing to put new tyres on my bike. And as far as I've been able to uncover, Cycletreads seems to be the only folks in the country that can get the Metzler ME880 in the correct size for my front tyre so will have to be in auckland anyway. Just make sure there is a fairly heavy duty fan there cause my bike is air cooled.
