like to know if the Twat riding the blue GN250 on the motor way into the big smoke is part of this fine establishment..........if so he should be inserted on to a large wooden stake and slowly rotisseried until well done.

just waiting for him to become a another reason fro my rego to get more expensive and my insurance premiums to double.

filtering is one thing, but doing it at 100, when the traffic is doing 80 is just fucking stupid........

well , I feel better now..... have a happy day

Get the rego and we can post him/her/it a letter letting them know the other bikes out there think they're pushing the limits etc.

Which MW?

Oh yes and it's such a fine day too! Darwinism it's what it's called. They are trying to remove themselves from the gene pool.

Not sure if they'er worse or not... Itsounds like it's just as dumb, with the potential to do a lot more damage.

It seems typical of GN riders and scooter riders to ride like fucking maniacs (Generalising I know)......if I meet these guys at the traffic lights I normally ask them to take it easy or they might end up dead.......

Twat riding the blue GN250

at 100

I call :bs:
1. I do not believe a GN250 will do 100. That would be throttle pinned open in 6th (5th?) gear
2. I can't think of any blue GN250s. Maybe this is the Ghost Rider edition GN, with nitrous and turbo. Ahhh, THAT'S how it could do 100km/h!

The blue ones are the 2005 version ... very dark blue ... not like a sky blue or a sea blue. Probably look black from a distance

Yep I can verify that, they are a dark blue.
I went up to J'ville yesterday and there was a dumbfuck on a blue GN250 pulled out from in front of the bakery - just about wiped out a couple of kids crossing then takes off down the main road toward the motorway. Just before the underpass he cuts across in fronty a truck to head up that road beside the shell station. I just thought "f*ck me!"
Maybe it's just GN riders?

I reckon it'll be newbie riders. The GN's are great value for money and I'd think newbies latch onto them for that very reason...

I hated it so I used to ring its neck out without worrying about what was going to happen to the motor. Its top speed and remember this was an older quite worn out GN was 115kph. So I'd be surprised if a newer one could not go faster than that. Also the gearing was quite low and changing the sproket setup could help with an increased top speed. Once I got my next bike (RZ350LC) I had great delight in killing my GN250 and promised myself that I'd never own one again.:bash:

My GN would go to 130 (on the speedo) in top gear down hill with a tail wind, my god did she get the speed wobbles bad though!.....

Oh yeah, Eurynomes who is/was a Wgtn memeber of KB had a blue GN, it had reddy/pink outlines...

don't spoil the illusion - I was hoping there was a Ghost Rider GN250...

Still question the 100km/h though :bleh:

Fair call I suppose. Cheap commuters and all that but I just wish they'd actually learn to ride instead just steering and hanging on.
