I was flicking channels over the weekend and on Canterbury TV they have a show called "Drive" Motorsports news magazine show: had coverage of A1 GP, tin top racing, and BMW Power Cup. That was really good racing. Apparently a support class for MotoGP, some big names and lurid slides: they use the new K1200 Bimmers and they seem to go bloody hard ALL The time. Definitely worth a watch if you can manage to see it.

Its an enjoyable series - good when people are on the same machines - much like the old aprilia cup in the uk. But I've heard this was its last year tho - wonder if its true or not.

I watched it. Enjoyed cos of all the carnage and there certainly was plenty. It was on Sanyong Speedweek, but I would rather watch NZ racing of any description. On or off road.
