17 inch tyre on an RM? I find that rather unlikely. If you do figure out the size let me know. I've got a shed full as well

2nd hand knobblies, Bluek! Soon as the sharp edge goes. . .

Cut off wheel on a grinder rubbed against the knobs to square them.

BUT be soddin’ careful!

Henk, not a common name so assume met you/Michelle on DRN? If so hi to the both of yuz.:spudwave:

Yep would have been seen on DRN long ago. It got a bit big for me to keep up with.
I know how you feel about 2nd hand tyres. Mine go on the race bike new, then onto the trail bike then into the shed. Then you see guys riding on tyres that are damn near slicks, doesn't matter too much in Woodhill but in Riverhead or some greasy enduro / trailride somewhere even half worn tyres can make the difference between a ride and a bike carry.

What I hate is when the bstds pass you on slicks,
like the bumble bee flying don't know they can't.

Sorry Cheese I don't think we have any. but I can sell you a set cheap as i work at a motorcycle wrecker( we can get anything). I use and reccomend Metzeler MC4 as a good alround tyre all year round.

Anybody got a slightly used (perhaps been raced for a day?) supercorsa/racetec out there that would suit a GSXR 600? its a 180/55(Ithink)?)/17

am currently using a SC1 that had a good day at Puke but its got to the end of irs road life and needs replacement (especially with the current frequency that we get rained on in AKL)
