Well I'm off over seas for a month in the tropics having fun with my family so I'll probably won't get much if any chance of looking at KB. Actually I'm already in Singapore airport waiting for my connecting flight in about 1 hour. :wavey:
BTW I'm sure some of you will heard via the grapevine I had a minor miss hap on tuesday evening (The night before I left) on my bike  . Resulting in me getting concussion and a sprained wrist but I'm ok. The bikes a little worse for wear but I think it should be repairable I wasn't really with it after dropping it in a corner so don't know for sure but hopefully should be too much work to fix. Mostly cosmetic damage and probably bent forks
(hopefully straightable). Will look into it when I get back.
Have fun guys and stay safe. The road is a dangerous place.
Also I can recommend spool leathers are good for crashing in. My leathers just need a bit of clean to get rid of some mud but will be sweet for a few more crashes but hopefully it won't come to that.

Sorry to hear about the mishap - here's hoping it doesn't cost you too much to get it fixed up again!
Enjoy your trip!

Yeah I told her. Didn't have too much choice as I was still feeling the effect of concussion, wasn't up to going tramping like I had planned . Also it's just a pain everytime I shake someones hand it hurts as my wrist still hurts :violin:

Nah mate, as far as I remember and my memory of the event is still about zero I was just trying to navigate my way round a corner. Don't really know what happened. I sort of woke up sitting next to my bike in the ditch wondering what I was doing there. :blank: :argh:

Well I'm back in town and looking forward to getting back on my bike. Did a bit of riding on a DT125 that's done at least 120-130 000 ks while I was in the philippines which was a bit of change from the road bike.
I managed to get my bike home yesturday and hopefully shouldn't take tooo much to get running. Forks don't look bent but I'll pull them out and check, may just be twisted. One of the discs may be warped but not sure yet either. Fairing will take a bit of surgery to redeem but mostly do able I think.

Riding in the Philippines is lots of fun if you keep in mind the first rule of riding which is give way to anything bigger than you. ie it's not uncommon for a bus to pass something and run motorbikes coming the other way off the road. Other than that I don't know of any other road rules that are inforced or even exist.
Once I get a bit more sorted I'll try and post some pics up.
BTW if you are into underwater stuff NZ has nothing on the Tropics including fish in bright yellows and pinks and blues as well as all sorts of colours inbetween.
And the fireworks NZ has nothing on those either. Being able to blow up coconuts etc made for a fun fulled New Year celebration :niceone: :2thumbsup
