I picked up the new Bandit from Colemans yesterday:banana: , there was a new bike for another member being picked up and others have posted about their new toys.
Ain't Xmas time great.
It was a mad dash to get the fork springs and shock out of old Bandit and sprint into town to get the new one. I've managed to get the Micron can on and the rest of the weekend that I don't waste working will be spent on fitting the extra bits to it.
So far so smooth, and it feels quite grunty already. I'm not to sure about the Michelins in the wet though, so it's a bit of nana riding for a while.

Lou I guess you have Macadams on the Bandit as I have on my K4 1200.They seem ok in the wet, but are more a touring tyre than a performance tyre. What model have you updated to.

I bought 6 new bikes this month - but I took them all back as I looked a real dork on each and every one.I reckon there is the perfect bike out there for me - the one that transforms me from John Rhys-Davies/Gimli into Arnold Swartzenager/Terminator 2 just by sitting on it....moneys no object,I just need a bike that makes me look good!

Ok Lou, so all this bloody rain today is your fault?
When I bought the Hornet it rained for a week.
Doesn't the boss put pressure on you to buy one of the house models? Is there really nothing in the Harley,Buell,Aprillia, Triumph, Kawasaki, KTM, or MotoGuzzi ranges that you could live with given a big enough discount?
Then again looking at that list I can see why you might buy a Bandit :2thumbsup
Enjoy!

Well, nothing else suited in the price range. I think the only bike as versatile as the bandit woud be a Fazer thou. Plus I had the susp gear for a Bandit already. Plus I got a killer deal.
Finances permitting, I wouldn't mind a Speed Triple or Superduke in a year or so.
