27 Calendars left!!
whoo hoo!! goin down!!!
Please read the last post (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?p=469111#post469111)
<center><a href="http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/gallery/albums/userpics/13042/calendar_graphic.jpg"><img src="http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/gallery/albums/userpics/13042/thumb_calendar_graphic.jpg"></a></center>
How do I get one...??
Easy.
Decide that you really can't live without one, and that the money is going to a good cause
Deposite $15 (per calendar) into K Greer - 06-0287-0725462-00 and DO NOT FORGET TO INCLUDE YOUR USER NAME IN THE DETAILS. If you can't put your username in, then make it an odd amount (eg $15.12) and tell me the exact amount so I can match it up. Anything above the $15 deposited will go to SpankMe on top of the donation from the calendar eg: you pay $20 - $5 extra goes to Spank. P&P included in the price.
PM me (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=3042) your postal address and notify me you have deposited money into the account.
As soon as funds show, it will be mailed out first thing the next morning and I'll send you a PM to confirm it's in the mail.
sit by the mail box in eager anticipation
Those who are in Auckland are welcome to come and pick one up, on prior agreement. PM me (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=3042) to arrange a time.
Hundreds of photos were submitted for this. We don't (thank God) have hundreds of months, so we couldn't pick all of them. The bikes featured in this calendar won't be shown as a main feature in any other calendar [I do]. Sorry if your bike didn't get picked, but there is always the next time.
And please focus on the main goal of this calendar - to say thanks to SpankMe, and to keep our KB home tickety boo ;)

Cheers Sniper..
Another point to add - questions, comments, suggestions - let me know. This is the first of a few (I kinda hope), so let me know what you think could make it even better for next time. The two months on the image up there are examples of what the rest of the calendar looks like, but it can be hard to judge. If you have anything constructive to say (good or bad, I ain't a wuss), then let me know.
Cheers guys

Good stuff.
As you asked, some "constructive" critisicemsm. I think that the rubber-ring type thing on that Honda bike image looks incredibly tacky and it wierds me out.
But it looks gooood

yeah, like Sniper pointed out - the photo was taken in a wing mirror of another bike. Was actually a bloody good photo. Kudos to Jimmie (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/member.php?u=1954) for that shot. The bike that belongs to that mirror, I believe is the same one in his profile pic.

Aw shucks thats sooo nice.
Yep the mirror image is my 18yr old GB400 and the mirror is my 1yr old GS1200. And all is forgiven. All that talk about rubber rings is too much like a reminder of my farming past - ouch.

Whats the bank that we can go into and make a manual desposit. I dont use internet banking. Oh and does the price include postage at all. Either way I'll put a few extra dollars in for the site.:done:

It's with the National Bank, if you want to do it over the counter.
The $15 does include P&P. Any extra over the $15 per calendar deposited goes to Spank.

if you can't put comments of ref numbers/names/words in the transfer, then put the deposit at something random like $15.14 and tell me that amount. Then I'll look out for that amount. But don't everyone pick $15.14 now.. or either side of that.. just pick a random amount ;)

I know, I know.. if I was the only one going thru it, then it'd be a different story. But there was a good selection panel of SpankMe, Joni and myself, along with a little help from Postie and Pyro. We chose a big selection of shots and a few 'must haves', and then the rest were almost self-selecting.
If this goes well, then there's no reason to not do one next year. So don't pass on a photo opportunity!
Also noticed how many peeps are putting in $20. Absolutely nothing wrong with this. I just want to point out that the $15 does include a donation to spank. $7 goes to the printer and $8 goes to Spank. The/any extra that everyone is kindly throwing in is going to Spank too. So keep the donations rolling! Hell, even I bought one!!

I don't understand why the bank won't let you put letters for ref codes.. wnkrs. Anyway, LB, if you don't get them some time today, I gave you the code for them, so may be you can track them. If you can't, then give me a buzz (021 636 910) and I'll see what I can do. I'm not going to around much today either, nice long list to get done!
There are still some deposits and no names orPMs to accompany them. Even if it's the name of the account it came from, that'd help heaps.
Today is the last day of sending them out. All others will be sent out on the 29th onwards.. soz ;)

And Racey, it's to support the fricken site you post on. The pics are just a bonus. It's stuff like this that is trying to raise some cash to keep this site going. And it's only 15 bucks. :2guns:
OK Mr Bugjuice. After a night to consider the facts, I remember that I can tell if I voted or not. Every other poll I have voted on shows my vote indicated in Italics. Your poll Does Not show me any Italiced option, which shows me that what I first thought was correct.
I DID NOT VOTE IN YOUR POLL!
I did not vote in your poll because I knew I could not commit $'s at this time of the year to that cause. In fact I didn't even comment on your idea, or send photos as it wasn't appropiate without being 'onboard'.
Now, I have given small amounts to the TS race fund and the Jason Mc. race fund, brought stickers/KB patch and Sweetshirt as able, But Don't tell Me how much money I should spend at McD's! Why do you think I have to ride a Crappy little KR150? Because after just going through a business colapes, and trying to feed a family on the Dole, I Don't have a lot of discretionary income to buy 636's/ McD's more than one in 3 months/ and PICTURES FOR THE WALL!
Yes Pictures for the wall is what it is. Other wise why not make a $15 donation directly to the site? That way $7 of it doesn't go off to the printers.
Now I Thought I did the right thing here:
1. Didn't vote or comment on something I couldn't commit to buy.
2. Yesterday offered to buy one to help move them, even tho I don't need one.
3. Accepted your criticism calmy when I wasn't sure of my facts.
4. Come back to standup for my point of view now that I have confirmed my postion.
I applaud your getting this calander project together well.
I will still go ahead and buy one if needed.

k, I can't see if you voted or not, period. But just by your comment, Sorry to say, I never intended to buy one, would imply to me that you voted. If you didn't, then that's ok then.
If you want to donate $15 straight to Spank, there's nothing to stop you doing that. But since a lot of people just don't for one reason or another (don't care, not asking), then this is kind of a good way to incite people to donate to the site, and to get something out of it too. Never said you couldn't. I also don't eat McD's. Disgusting shit. But at one point or another, I've probably spent 15 bucks shouting a meal or something (which is what I meant, not that you'd eat $15 worth yourself), and the 636 don't come cheap or quick. years of working my ass to the bone just to get to ride it.. every cent hard earned.

As we've seen, it could get a bit ugly if names are mentioned. But those who voted "yes" in the poll and have not bought a calendar, should be doing some serious soul-searching. If the calendars are not sold, those people have COST the site money.
Perhaps there are a few bruised egos, who aren't buying one because they didn't get their own picture in the calendar this year. But surely no-one would be so petty or precious?:bleh:
It's a great calendar - bikes is bikes....

Virago - thanks for the support. There were heaps of photos submitted and we don't have heaps of months. So we had to cut hard. Hey guys (and guyesses) - these calendars are just great - very professional, and some neat photos.
For anyone who is thinking of buying one, my advice would be to go for it.
I'll be sending in some photos of my bikes for the 2007 version. And whether or not my bike/s feature, I'll be buying several - makes a great gift.
Bugjuice, you have done a great job of this calendar - well done.

WOOT got mine today too, as well a couple of stickers... one is stuck on the tank just above the warning label:
REMEMBER
1: Make sure there is petrol in the tank
2: Try and wear a safety helmet
3: Ride like a complete twat.
Lol funnily enough it was already on there when I got it... seemed appropriate[*sp] :D
Calendar is awesome by the way.... needs the 'Royal Custard Flying Monkey Brigade' on there tho, maybe next year :D

Calender received all good. Awesome job LB... Really great
Couple of negatives tho...
- Theres only 12 months in the year, if we could squeeze a couple more in we would have even more great pics
- I only bougth 1.. should have ordered more. Hope you dont run out before I get some more ordered. !!

still a few more left!!!!!
There's still names I have received money from, and no one has PM'd me to claim them. If you have deposited money and not got anything yet, please PM me!!!
Else your calendar will end up gathering dust, or could be sent to someone else. Your money will then be given to Spank in total.

It looks like Akaroa, looking across the harbour northish (am I close Biff?)
