Hiya, i'm riding from Akl to Taupo-ish (Tirau turn-off) to hang with the old's on Christmas Day,
Just seeing if anyone else is heading sthwards - it'd be good to have the company :niceone:
It'll be a morning departure - but I'm pretty flexible about the time - the old lady doesnt expect me much before lunch....after all, there's no point in turning up before the food's ready.... :done:

Right day, wrong time . . .
I'm leaving Auckland for Taupo around 2pm on Xmas day, then a day trip to Napier and back on Boxing day, followed by a night run back up to Auckland that evening.
PM me if any of you are taking those routes . . .

I'll be in H-town on Xmas day, but I fully intend on being hungover in the AM.
WRT & Cibby, call in for a cup-o-tea on your way past if you like
