1995 Yamaha TZ125.

Its a fast bike (ported barrel) that handles well. Comes with a new bottom end, pretty fresh top end and some spares like sprockets and fairings.
Great bike to start racing on.
Want $3000 ono. I will also help you with your first couple of race meetings if I'm there myself racing if required.

Happy racing...

Ring Leo (027) 522 5091.

Hi Leo - what's the story? Do you still have another bike to race? Noticed you weren't at Manfeild points round. Good luck with selling the bike. Lynda

I have 3 race bikes, it still leaves me with the '97 TZ125 (which I will never sell), and the RS125 which is my current race machine.
Will happily take a deposit and hold onto it for a couple of months, as long as we have a pay-by date arranged.
Lynda maybe you should buy it.....

the only reason i cannot pay for it now is i am currently trying to sell my other bike, which is going to pay for this one :)

Lynda maybe you should buy it.....

Ah yes, now there's a thought.....but there's the power-to-weight ratio to consider....it would not be a good ratio I'm afraid!

sounds like a good deal is this the one you raced at vic club last year? if so it was pretty quick what is the difference between one of these and a RS what in your opinion is the better bike?

Away on holiday at the moment, so will have to answer most questions when I get home.
But....
This isn't the bike I was racing last year, I used it as a spare bike. But I was using the barrel in my bike I was racing. Thats how I know how quick it was, it was faster than the original.
The barrel was ported by Rob Taylor, not sure to what specs.
As I mentioned in the ad, the bottom end will be brand spanking new (so new I haven't even quite got it done yet but will in the next couple of weeks), the top end will have less than 100 kms on it.
In my opinion, the TZ's handle a lot better, they don't feel like they're going to chuck me off at every opportunity, but the RS has a little more speed -(this could be just because my RS has had a "little" work).
Spares list, what the sprockets are and the pics will have to be done when I get back from holiday.
Cheers

Sorry I've been so slack. My boyfriend used the parts I was going to use to rebuild the crank on his bike, so am waiting for new bits to turn up.
The bike should be completely together and ready for photos in about a month.

Shes now all ready to go.
Spares that come with it:

Manual
Front sprocket
Rear sprockets (T35, 37, 38?)
Main jets (400-450), Nozzle (R4, R6 in bike)
Wets on rims
Gear/brake lever.
Front/rear brake pads, used but still very within specs.
Rear Stand
Clutch/Throttle cable
Footpegs
Spare fairings, some in need of minor repair. 2 x upper fairings, 1 tail, 1 x belly pan
Small pile of other parts including gaskets

Has ported barrel and modified head, worked by Robert Taylor. I have used this barrel on my other TZ and can guarantee its fast in a straight line. I have put quite a fat base gasket on to keep everything safe, but bike does come with a couple other base gaskets. The carby inlet has been polished as well.

Bike has brand new crank. This needs to be run in, I have only started it. The top end is about half used (2-300km on it). Should be good for another 250 km.
Have had to revise my price so am offering for $3500 ono.

Email if any more info or pictures wanted.

Forgot to say, the gas tank that goes with the bike is not the one shown in the photo but is white instead. Much the same condition.
