Well interesting day this day has been.

Worked a 13 hour day.Bugger.

Met up with my wife at knock off time and went a did some shopping.

While shopping I was trying to get her to agree to let me buy a 2 pc leather suit. She was almost nearly coming round I think.

I had my bike and she had the car.

We pulled out of the shop up to a giveway sign and as she pulled away I zinged past her striaght into a cop.

77k/hr $230

My wife was about 10m behind me.

SUCK

I am not allowed the leathers now.

Oh yeah, to make things worse I got pinged for a bald rear which I was planning on replacing all this week but just haven't got around to it yet.

That is another $150.

The cop was good though. Let me off for my Restricted licience so could have been another $400 so that was good.

we have my money, her money and our money. Several toys this past few weeks has taken up my money, no way am I getting her money and our money is the only funds that has enough to pay for leathers. And fair is fair, it has always been that we both have to agree to spend our money. Have to play by the rules. Don't ever get into a shopping war with a woman - you'll lose every time.

The tire is a must. It was always going to be done anyway. It is just a really hectic week this week. (tried explaining this to the cop but she wouldn'y have it) but when working 12-15 hour days I really haven't had time to replace the tire. I am surposed to be at work now but I just woke up so it looks like a late start for me today.

$230 was the speeding fine for being 27k over

$150 was the fine for riding on a "smooth" tire

Total fine $380


Put a new Pirelli Sport Demon on it today for $140 incl fitting. Really grippy now - makes me want to ride faster.....
