Ok I own a cage...yes I admit it! However I also own a bike and are naturally courteous to fellow Riders. Late last night I had one following me so i did my usual and pulled furter to the curb as it looked as he wanted to pass.
But no this was not the case...he wanted to ride my arse...so much so that I was worried for his safety as the roads where wet and it was totally stupid what he was doing.
Then on the way back I had a scooter (yes a scooter) roar past me at some rediculous speed no safety gear and all over the road!.
Totally not impressed with either of these riders....my question is...Am I the only one that feels this way about other peoples riding skills piss you off.
I so wanted to yell at the guy "Unless your a hemroid...GET OFF MY ARSE!" :shake:

I agree Kelsta. Unfortunately its not the riding skills they're showing, just plain stupidity and just adding to the list of reasons for joe (or josephine) motorist to rile against motorcyclists:angry2:

Aint that the truth. They also do not usually understand constructive cricitism, so it pays to let them learn the hard way.

Why did you pull left:spudwhat: I hate that. If I want to pass I will pass. As most of my riding is open road, and when you pull left you pick up stones and shit that bloody hurt when they hit me. :pinch: If this dum arss was that close just go back to the driving lane and keep and eye on them. I really hate it when people do the hard left hand, in the ruff to get me to pass. I have a licence and I can make a judgment and I will pass when I am ready. Sorry about the rant but it is something I hate cos often I do not want to pass, yet. I could be using the cage in front to block the cop my detector has picked up or I could be in a lazy cruise mood. Mind you I do not follow to close either. Tap the break pedal :moon: and see if it makes the rider back off.

...Am I the only one that feels this way about other peoples riding skills piss you off.No, I think the general biker population would agree with you on that. It's interesting when us bikers are driving cages sometimes and notice other bikes on the road, sure we want to be courteous and sometimes even momentarily forget we're in a cage and nearly nod or wave  , but the best thing you can do is just keep your line and let the biker pass or follow you if he/she so wishes. There are many bad riders out there and they are a danger to themselves many times, you encountered two of them last night and thankfully no-one got hurt! :doctor:

**R1** and I were out for a ride recently, going through a 65km/h left hander leading onto a short straight followed by a rising right left switch back we came across a car. **R1** went past on the short straight, I decided to hold back until we were through the series of corners, but no the car braked hard, pulled left in the middle of the rising switchback. Fuck me, I was way off his back, obviuosly hanging back. By hitting the brakes and pulling left he actually increased the chance of an accident, as I had no choice but to pass him only just keeping in my lane.

I often, when in a cage, want to wave bikes past as I know I'm most likely holding them up but am not sure the correct course of action, so I just keep a little bit to the left and try and keep my line.
I often feel like waving them past but I don't know if that would be helpfull :spudwhat: , better to let the bike decide when to pass.
Happy Christmas everyone.:drinknsin

Yep I get that but how do you feel when you are out riding and someone pulls to the left and you do not want to pass:spudwhat: Do not be offended, :niceone: you make a good point, but it is better to stay in the lane and let the rider make the pass when they can or want.
Oh yea Merry Christmas to all and to all a happy new year. C U all boxing day. :argh: hope the wind goes away.......

damn straight, i've recently been tootling [that was gay] around in my newly aquired and soon to be dismissed cage, and have had several bikers pass me, although they never tailgate me or do anything stupid, they just get on with it and pass the little ford laser with the bad driver....:wavey: i really have to get back on the road with only two wheels..... i cant find any fucken feedback in a cage atleast on a bike it feels good..... altough the stereo is luxury:2thumbsup
