A special thanks and merry christmas to spank for making this great site available to us all, free of charge, at his own expense. Hopefully the weather can pull its head in sometime soon although Im off tomorrow to pick up a 1998 TT350, so I can enjoy riding in all occasions. :scooter:

In the new year I wish that anyone leaving the site just did so without having a cry about it.
I want to hear WT say that Honda's are great bikes.
I want to kick Jimbo's and L Bruce's arses on a track.
And when I hear someone talking shit about how fast they are, instead of being the polite guy I am and just smile, I'm going to say you are one full of shit try hard Mofo.
Oh and I really really want to see Cycosis back in the saddle next year so you GSXR boys can get the learn.

Deano will lift his game as I'm hanging out for a bit of competition.
Cycosis to be back on a bike too as I need to write mine off trying to stay with him so I can get a 06 GSXR with the insurance.
I'll have me 06 GSXR cos they're the business. Better than any Honda bollocks anyway.

I want to get down to Welly more often to catch up with all the good bastards down there - except for Jimbo600 cos he's a twat.
I want to get back to the riding level I was at before I crashed.
I want to do a trip down to the South Island on my bike.
I want to hear WT say that Honda's are great bikes.
I want to learn to wheelie on WT's (and my) HONDA.
I want to have heaps and heaps of fun now that I won't be doing loads of assignments and stuff on my days off.

It seems it is that time again
When festive penguins appear on ties
That never see the light of day
And Bikers mount their roaring beasts
For fun and frolics and for play.
Twisties seem to lose their charm
With cages, nutters and summer rain
Out to knock us on our bums
And 4bys want to inflict pain.
So here's my message for this year
A little pome of wisdom for us all
Partake a lot of Christmas Cheer
So much that all you do is fall
Upon the floor at your host's bach
And when the morning's birdlife calls
You'll find you're safe and out of harm
And can see the long and arduous crawl
To your next beer is short
For you have broken through
Your neighbour's party wall
I mean it lads (and ladesses too)
Drink Up Be merry and Spend time with those
whom you love at this special time
And keep the rubber on the road
And your metal, leather, plastic, Carbon titanium chrome, acrylic glass and electrics UP!
Merry Christmas all - have a good time out there and stay safe - see you in the New Year!

Ok while I have a quiet moment to myself (for some reason I haven't had many of those of late) I'd like to wish you lot a fab Christmas & a exciting & safe 2006.
Thanks so much to those of you have directly & indirectly supported me & my Betty over the last year. I can't believe it was this time last year I was obssessively pouring over maps of the South Island for my trip in Feb...right now I'm obsessively pouring over the list of things I have to do before Christmas Day when we have up 13 people over (it's worse than getting married!! Ok not quite that bad).
This has been another life changing year for me in many ways and it's all good.
So thanks firstly to SpankMe for putting together this site and 2nd to the those of you have become people I feel privelaged to call friend.

To all that still remember me, to Mitch, Kwaka Kid, SPMan, Spanky, Nuanh, Big Dog, and everyone else whose KB name I've forgotten.....
Merry Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous new year.
This year has been my worst year ever (worse even than the year after I left NZ:doh: ), but things have started to turn round and at least I have gained permanent employment as an Active Directory specialist at a local college. Next year I will return my RSVR to the road and start riding for fun, so that is something to look forward to....and within the next 3 years I expect to be returning to NZ with my family (they admit that NZ is better for them than UK:Oops:).
For 2006 I wish all KBers to stay safe and shiny side up.....and have lots of 2 wheeled fun.

Merry Christmas to One and All.
I wish you all the best and hope that the Biker Gods smile on you for another year.
Stu
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten,
and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white

Merry Christmas everyone. May you all have a wonderful day and enjoy the spirit of xmas.
It seems that many people think that xmas is to succumb to retail businesses and buy their goods to give as presents. I am however, fairly confident that it will always boil down to be the spending time with family and loved ones that counts most. People will always (by the majority) give gifts, but as we all know, it is the thought that counts, and a gift that suits a certain persons personality or need, and not how many or how much gifts cost that make the difference.
I think telling someone you love them is the biggest gift of all. Make a concerted effort to be with family over these holidays. Had a fallout with a family member and don't speak anymore? Ring them up and just say hi. Life is so delicate and so short, it's true what they say, never go to bed angry.
Again, merry xmas all. Drive/ride safe over the holidays
Dave

Hmm... Merry Christmas,
Novel concept I suppose.
Let's not forget those people that don't like christmas and would happily see it removed from the calender.
Best time of the year for suicides apparently, not everyone does the happy happy joy joy bit.
But I hope those of you who use christmas as something other than a couple of weeks off work drinking have a fun time :)

As Weasel points out, xmas can be quite the opposite for some people. What they must remember is that it's only a few days of the year, with the rest being there to bring better thing into their lives. Even when things seem at their absolute worst, it's never as bad as one may think (in my opinion).
Everyone has options, options which are different for each person. Never think of taking drastic measures for problems which are easily improved, even if that only means ones perception of it. There are many people here, around you or at appropriate places to talk to. What can it hurt to just have a chat with someone should you ever feel that low? Every single person is special, unique and has something to offer the world. Don't let the dark clouds of stress and/or problems obscure your view of that.
From speaking to people and reading on here for example, 2005 has been a tough and demanding year for alot of people. 2006 is just around the corner, and it feels like a good year to me:niceone:

Merry Cristmas one and all, just home from work and it wasn't too bad, only one 'domestic' (but it involved a 53km dash to the house) and one suicide attempt that was dealt with by other guys.
And the usual drunk vandals and others with too much Christmas cheer.
NO crashes
No drink drivers (but I bet there were some out there).
Home now with my younger son and C.B.s younger son, just popped a can of Bulleit bourbon and kicking back and having a look at KB.
Hope Santer Clawers was good to you all.

Happy Merry Christmas to those who observe it, Happy Holidays to those that don't!
As was said before it is a lonely and depressing time for some.
Thea and I have both daughters and sons-in-law with us this year, something we really treasure!
Always in our thoughts are Police (Scumdog and crews), Ambos (RiffRaff, SpeedMedic and crews), Fire Service (Firefight and crews) and all those who cannot spend time at home with their loved ones...
Have a wonderful day EVERYONE on KB - Auckland weather looks good...

Aww  I luv you too:innocent: I'm still here, roaming the "halls" of KB, sometimes I open a door and say hi :drinknsin, other times I watch through the glass in the door, and yet again other times I lean against the door and sleep.
I can't be expelled, and I don't want to leave:devil2: :done:

Gidday Simon - geez - you've had a bit of a hard time since going back.
Good to hear everything may be turning around for you, at long last. Also
good to hear the bike may finally be released from its prolonged inactivity.
Have a good one next year
SP
The bike will be released....I've even got a good set of tips for how to do it...will probably shock my neighbours when I start her up.....I get enough looks when I kick start the Suzuki X5.
