TREES KILL - BAN ALL TREES!!! (they're also a hazard to lightning)

I agree, if he has never ridden a bike (which it looks like) it makes as much sense and as safe giving him that bike to 'learn' on as giving a 3 year old an Uzi.

I just found it pathetic and like Spank said, who the heck gave him the bike to ride as its clear he can't:pinch:

The only pathetic part I saw was his lack of gear and total lack of instruction, well apart from "don't hit the car".:nono:
No I didn't feel sorry for him,good job!:weird::rofl:
Ya gotta start somewhere eh? I blame his "teachers" or lack there of:tugger:
Just hope for his sakes that he learnt that trees can hurt

A bit harsh on the rider - he had NO idea what he was letting himself in for!
The owner on the other hand got the wrecked bike he deserved!

these damn trees that just jump out in the middle of the road someone ought to put up a warning sign ...

I reckon the rider was equally dense hopping on the bike. I vaiguely remember learning to ride as an eight year old and although I stalled often for awhile, it was pretty hard to ride into things like that...

americans and no helmets...they think its so cool..muppets
ive seen this before...what kind of bike is that? its like a vtr250 but bigger...is it a duke monster?
its an early version SV650 I think. the "round" frame one rather than the "square" frame one introduced in 2003.
oh yeah, as Homer would say "Its funny cos I dont know him"

yeah i've got the vid here, it's a suzuki sv
the fool deserves it, open the throttle release the clutch = movement
so any idiot should have figured when heading towards a tree, grip the clutch, close the throttle (+brake) = stop

first time i rode a bike, i let the clutch too fast and wound up stalling her.
this idiot, however, is worth laughing at. tree aint exactly small.

Why is it that in all these threads with these videos someone says something about not wearing a helmet? Try it sometime, you might like it. Not all "yanks" don't wear helmets and even the ones that do it does not make them stupid.

Easy, in a crisis that is out of their experience a lot of people 'freeze' hence no slowing down, no swerving, no braking, he'd just be thinking 'shit-shit-shit':pinch:

Easy, you totaly focus on the tree and say to yourself "I must not hit it, I must not hit it..."

Live like that in Lake Havasu, Arizona, riding like that is like riding is without boots in NZ, - it's o.k. but when you fall off you wish you were wearing good boots.!!
But in Arizona it is a matter of practicality and law.
And the fact that most of the interstate is two lanes each way so there is little liklihood of hitting traffic going in the opposite direction.

It's interesting how the mind works, or doesn't.
2 trees, metres apart, and the one he hit was only the width of his tyres.
Still, he managed to hit it dead square on. NOW THAT IS TALENT

ok, thats pretty funny, BUT
this monday, I went to see my old mate, first time on my bike. there was a bbq going on there. I parked on the street, but my mates immidiately got the bike into the backyard looking at it, sitting on it and commentiog/etc. Obviously (as it usually is), soon they asked me for the keys, so they can have a 'spin' around the backyard, after all it's big section of lawn backyard there, what bad could happen.............................
obviously I refused to give them keys (just to start it up and listen to it.... yeah, right !), but asfter half an hour of nagging I gave up and gave my mate the keys. he was wearing only shorts and sunnies, I warned him that the bike will slip easily if he twists the throttle too fast/far. He asure me he rode bikes before and he know what he's doing..... well... guess what happened.....
he went around the backyard once and then he twisted the throttle 'bit more' ..........
he was behind some trees and all I hear is...
THUNK... SNAP....PUUUUURRRR..OH...F***!!!!
he was probably moving slowed than walking speed when the bike fell on his leg and squashed it pretty bad, he was bleeding from several places on his right lef (no shoes). luckily exhause pipe is on the right side.... he broke my front bikini and he's fixing it as we speak.... no other damage to the bike (after all it was on the lawn).
nobody wanted to 'have a ride' after that, haha !
