Is anybody planning a ride out over the week end 31/12 -1/1., from Auckland?:soon:
Count me in if you are.
Just got back from going up to waiwera and back across to the dairy flat and then the old north road . God damm what a rush.
Finally got the tyres scrubbed in.
So if anyone want to ride out of auckland between now and Sunday let me know.:spudwave: :headbang:

Did you end up going very far up SH16 this morning?
Hows that road doing these days?

The run from westgate up to the turn off to Albany was fine a few weeks ago when i went up it, nice fast road, but i only went from the dairy flat throught riverhead and back again today, which is a good road with some nice twisty bits. all in all a good ride.

i'm in onehunga. scoots is a dirty old westie.. you're on the shore somewhere - yes?
how bout the gull service station next to wash world on old albany highway just down from upper harbour highway turn off? 6pm - leave by 6.15? destination to be decided.
NOTE: scoots is a sissy, and will only be riding if the weather is perfect. I'm not a sissy, but my bike doesn't seem to work when it's raining....
PM me about 4-ish and we'll confirm from there....

the cheek of it!!!!!! a dirty old westie! i'm deeply offended :argh: the only reason i dont go unless the weather is perfect or near perfect is i can't see the point wobbling arournd on a wet road or being blown across the centre line while up on the back wheel ,,,,, or sweating in my leathers in the heat of the day ,,,,, wow i do sound like a sissy ! :moon:
