well as the title says ...been there done that :msn-wink:
and took the piccie. Well took a few actually, about 135 in total but I wont put you all through those staggeringly amazing pics...suffice to say they were all superb, just like the trip was actually!
So yup as Dangerous has mentioned we hooned on up to Blenheim on xmas eve, taking in the glorious weather once we left the crap behind in chch. The coast was damn near perfect UNTIL some little damn terrorist decided there was just too much fun happening and thought it would be cool to land on my neck....said neck being fully enclosed in brand new cordura jacket that does up just about to my nose...and proceeded to plant his arse on, not once as you might think, but I think the final tally was FIVE flippin times.
yep heading round a lovely smooth corner with my hand madly trying to get rid of said terrorist...kickaha musta thought i had lost it.... as I oh so smoothly carry on around the corner. So heres me thinking....now i KNOW my mum is allergic to these things, wonder if i am?? Ah well i guess if i start falling of the bike then the answer is probably YES!
But no, got to Sedden for a male pitstop (funny how they have to do that ALL THE TIME), and hardly a mark for all my pain. Ah well I thought just as well I didnt act like a bloke and do the usual... Stand the bike up in the middle of the road, throw off the helmet and jump around moaning about the damn wasp....
BUT the next morning was different story.....meet Rashika with the elephant neck, oh yeah it did swell, some 12 hours later, and the next day or so. Bloody thing. Ah well enough of that shit...here some pics
Pic 1: KB watchdog in action....or Floosie as she's well known.
Pic 2: Arrival in Blenheim
Pic 3: Awaiting for the big boat to take us all away
Pic 4: Bikes all loaded up

AWESOME day it was,
Great ride up from Chch the day before with Kickaha Joni and Rashika stayed at Stevo and Chick n charge's (cheers for the BBQ and bourbon) Then the next day on to the ferry.
HUGE thanks to PaulNZ and wiffie Vick for a lovely Xmas dinner it was unexpected and even the bubbly went down well.
Rocked up in Wanga's at the motel and crashed out with Deisel Pig and his old man.
Next morning went down to the track and... well you know the rest. Crashed out again at the motel after running into town for some grub and watched a bunch of race bikes wheelie through town (still on a high I spose) looking for the prize giving.
Next day hit the roads again back to Welly via the Southward museum great shit in there. Droped Joni off at her mates as there wasent enough room on the ferry (beleive that one or not) she flew home. Kickaha's bike started running on three pots and he dident seem worried bout it... spose its not like it could loose any more power anyway.
We loaded up on the ferry and once in Picton Kick headed for Chch and Rashika and I went to Nelson for the night via the motion sickness drive known as queen C drive... (dont think she appreciated that)

Right The Cemetary racing was awesome and we meet a shit load a KBers... I believe there were heaps there that we dident spot... next time maybe.
Heres the KBers I remember meeting for the 1st time,
Skelster, Sparky Bills, SP Man, 2 Smoker, Sels1, LB, Slim, Velox (& those that were with her???), AJturbo & Mud Boy, F5Dave, Gixxer4ever, sAslex, Goblin, MR, KK, speed med, Inline4, Demon Wolf and GaryH.
saw Flame and Mitch and spoted Deanos bike.... I believe we missed NC, Skunk who else?

Pics to follow of the Southward museum

Pulled the motor out today and stripped the head and barrel off and it's burnt out a valve, I might complain to Yamaha it's only done 106,229km and 24 years old and shit like this is already starting to happen, what do they expect it to be like in another twenty years, bloody disposable society we live in nothing lasts any more
