Could this possibly be the replacement for the mighty GTR 1000? Probably based on the upcoming ZZR 1400 with shaft drive. Please let it be so.

Geez!, finally changing the old GTR huh? probably only trying to pull a few back from the FJR1300 prospective buyers maybe?
anyhow a 20yr model run says something about the original GTR1000 though.
be interesting to see how durable it is.

The new ZZR1400 looks magic particularly the front view, which most people will presumably only see in the rear view mirror as you prepare to overtake.
With four headlamps plus blinkers across the nose it looks like a mobile energy crisis. Brilliant bike though if you could afford to keep it in tyres.

French Police have got in on the act.
"It had to happen ! After BMW losing the French police contract to Yamaha {link}, the famous French Gendarmerie must have started liking high speeds. They have recently signed an agreement with Kawasaki for the supply of some 50 Kawasaki ZZR 1400 for their Fast Interception Brigade."

Peak torque is 154nm !!!!!!!!!!! Cant remeber what revs though. Think you are in the ballpark though with those revs. More than enough to never change out of 6th gear if you are lazy enough.

When they make a half faired version, Suzuki will lose a customer. (maybe)
