Anyone out there reccommend a set of tyres for a GSXR1000k4,bike is due for a new set but hear you can't get BT12's anymore, being replaced by BT14's,what are they like?or what about Michelins Pilot Powers or Pirelli Diablo for a go?Type of riding I do is pretty much just sunday blasts but hope to get about 4-5000km per set.......

014s are better by far than 012s.

Anybody that gets 4-5000km outta a set of wraps on a Gixxer 1K doesnt "blast".

Have got the BT014 s on my GSXR1100. At the moment I am riding around the South Island and they havnt let me down. The Lewis Pass was a good test for them and they worked well.:yeah:

M1 Front x Z6 rear combo work well . As do the 014's mate has them on his K4 . I don't do Power Pilots myself but others seem to think they are good . All down to how you ride as Whitetrash say If you ride flat out then Go sticky

With trashy on this one 4-5000km  stuff dreams are made of.

014's are bloody good tyres, i've used powers and they are prolly the best wet performing tyre i've used, only time i've managed to show trashy a clean er dirty set of sidi heals and fuck off.
