Just a few impressions of the new Bandit after 1200 km's..
Smoother and tighter, still has new bike smell.
Seemingly has a better low and mid-range. Should be better still with a little fettling. Top end feels similar, but it's hard to tell from SOP.
Michelin Macadams are better than I expected, but they're bloody harsh.
Much, much better economy - 18 km/l as against 16.5 on the old bike, and it's not all due to running in (or out).
New forks have much better damping than 30,000 km ones.
So far so happy.
