Rg150, Opinons?

I went to moto gb at the mount today looking at the Gn's and found an Rg which was in Immaculate cond with 15'000 k's. The only thing bad is the price .... $2995 is a bit much but, (apart from the dust ) It looked brand new :shit: . I know a lot of you guys have them so your opinions would be very much appreciated.

I'd rather have an RG than a GN, but then again I'd rather have almost anything rather than a GN

Sounds very steep. Keep looking man. I got mine for $1500 with 11,000kms.
Great fun and plenty of power for a 150.

u could get a nice 250 4 for that money

what do all you guys expect!, its at a dealers.
i think its ok, ive seen it at is looks great (apart from the colour compaired to the red ones).

theres a nice cheap one on trademe (nice red/white one)

how old are you?, when we both get bikes we might be able to get a ride going seem your so close

the rg150 is a better bike than a four stroke 250 as far as a learner bike goes. IMO.
so much lighter, very sharp handling.
i once rode an rg150 from hamilton to taupo (thru the mangakino gorge) for a mate who had just bought it,
and what a blast! Never ending cornering clearance!! Turns on a dime, great brakes,
and would sit on the speed limit no worrys.
