That's a beautiful noise. It brings back fond memories. My yellow 150 didn't have a turbo but she could go alright if you kept your head down low. :scooter:

I came up to Auckland from Gisborne on it in the winter of '85 wearing a fetching one-piece yellow PVC riding suit with newspapers stuffed down the legs to keep me warm. :cold:

I did the trip in 2 days! With that turbo, I could have done it in ... maybe 1.5 days...or maybe 3 days considering I would have probably needed a wee stop off at Whakatane hospital A&E.

A standard px200 will smoke a gn250 with ease.

Is this the same scooter that would beat a CBR?:Pokey:

I have trouble squeezing as much out of my current 250 cruiser as I got out of my old 150 2-smoke Vespa. I have no doubt that a px200 would give me a run for my money and a GN from what I hear would be an easier target yet. :-)

Mind you, I would never want to go back to that small wheel size again. On the other hand, I was able to carry a whole spare wheel on a bracket behind the pillion seat so they had their merits.

Well If I was on a px200 I could beat most of the KBers around coro, but from 0-100 a px200 wouldnt have a chance, that would be the giler runner your speaking of another piaggo brand.
