Well today I visited Thundercross the conditions are as follows:

B Track (easy): Bumpy but very passable even for novice/ junior riders. bit bumpy but is in good conditon. Bypasses around the difficult bits for juniors.

Avanced: Dry, big ruts, a few mud bogs, one big bog past the trig station with a pile of 4x2's covered with chicken wire, good and passable. steep bits include a few intresting ups and down but is very passable

MX Track: unknow but looks in good conditon and rideable although i didn't ride it.

Hire Bikes & Gear: A few hire bikes and gear hire (helmets, boots, gloves etc)

Bike Wash: Bike washing location with pressure blaster $2 per bike from memory or something around that.

Toilets are on location and it is $20 bucks for people over 17 and 15 for people under 17. get out there while the track is good.

Thanks for that report Wellyman. Last time I was down there some of the bogs were pretty full on - especially that one on the way up towards the satelite dish. Good to hear they have worked on them since.

Just as a point of interest, do you know much about their bike hiring? I'm keen to get a little four stroke off them for the missus, say a 125 or something. I've tried calling them and emailing them but not had a reply, so had planned to talk to them next time I was down that way. Just havent had the chance to get down there recently. Dont suppose you know how much they cost for a day, and how you go about booking them?

He also has a Z400 quad for hire as well. that would be a good start for your wife as it would be stable or the KLX is a good little machine.
give him a call for more details 09 2333117.
