Hello out there, looking at finding some people to ride with down to the Vincent in Alexandra 3rd Feb Friday.( I live up near Hamner Springs so will head down to Ash-vegas on the Thursday just to knock a couple of hours off the ride.) Memeber of BRONZ Otago.
Riding my new bike, still coming to grips with the cruiser style riding instead of over the tank, past bike CBR 1000, pocket rocket ZX4.:chase:
(Bonus if a few riders, sick of Mr Plod, and giving to the Goverment xmas drinkees!!!!!!!!!!) :stupid:

might be a possibility...depends as there is the Glenorchy one this weekend, then the Hokitika one 2 weeks after that, Vincent is the weekend after that one. Could be pushing it to do 3 in 4 weeks.
But would still LIKE to do it. Only been there once but really enjoyed the rally and site was superb :2thumbsup

Is there not another thread on this somewhere on the site????

My leave has been cancelled, so it looks like I will be able to call into the Vincent rally for an hour or two after all. I guess I'll be able to see what all you drunken idiots look like while I'm still completely sober as I'll have leave the rally site at 6:00 pm and go to work. :yeah:

Hey no probs, just looking at finding some riders to pottle along with, as the demerits are dwindling down. Must be a blonde thought with 6 different class's of Lic they would only take the points of the offending class.
Look out for me I should be on the gate or at the bar:Playnice:

Which direction will you come from?
Through Lawrence or over from Taieri and through Middlemarch (or maybe the Pig Root)?

Head into Alexandra, turn off as if your heading to Chatto Creek and as you come up to a sweeping corner headin up a hill hang a right follow and go over a bridge. There are two ways into the site 1st Fisher Lane 3kms of gravel or go straight along tarseal and follow onto Galloway Road turn down Shennan Road 500m gravel and straight to the site, about 6-7kms in total.
There is also a Motorcylce Show displaying vintage, classic and modern motorcycles from Otago and Southland at the Molyneux Stadium in Alex on Saturday with a Courtesty coaches running between the site and the show all day.

Sorry to disappoint everyone, but the motorbike show in Alex has had to be cancelled. The two organisers have had something more important (to them) come up this weekend, and didn't have enough time to arrange for new organisers. The Chatto Creek club do intend to run the show next year though.
