Hey guys im moving into a new flat on Sat 28th Jan...... Unfortunately both me and my partner only ride bikes and have no cage.....
Im hoping that someone here could help? I'd need someone who has a tow ball on their car and who would also be willing to drive from A to B (Hataitai to Karori). I am going to hire one of those trailers that look like a horse float, so it'll only be one load. Two hours tops...
If anyone can help me its worth a dozen beers (of your choice) and petrol money.

If you don't get any better offers I can suggest to my parents we swap cars for a day... theirs has a towbar, neither of mine do.

I would reccomend Piggy Packers in Porirua for moving if you can drive a small truck - doesn't require a special license, just car license will do.
$65 dollars for 4 hours which might not be not much more than hiring the trailer?
You can also hire a trolley and blankets for $10 if needed.
100 free Kms I think....
Check out the details here: http://www.piggypackers.co.nz/

I was thinking your moving this Saturday.
The 28th I think is free. Give us a holla if you need me. I can bring a towbar, how heavy are your clothes :eek5:, as it's not an 18 wheeler.

I have my HT if that helps. I'll drive wherever ya like and live up K way so it's not an issue if ya have a vehicle. And I like BBQ food (ok ALL food). Unfortunately car with towbar gone to a fiey grave.

funnily enough, yes.
And no, it wasn't the promise of food that brought me out of my stuper.

Thanks heaps for the offers of help etc guys. Just to answer those that have PMed me with questions (instead of PMing you all back individually), this is what I need....
On the 28th JAN 2006. I need someone who has a car with a towbar who would be willing to drive their car (with the towbar) to pick up a trailer from the hire place, then drive to Hataitai with the car and trailer and load up the trailer and drive to Karori to unload the trailer and then deliver the trailer back to the hire place. As in my first post I will buy the person a dozen beers as well as re-imburse you for petrol. It will only be one load so all up it'd take 2 hours or less...
I have no cage licence or cage, only a bike.
