12th Thurs Jan - Auckland to Wellington (Travel buddy / Bed in Wellington)

I'll be travelling from Auckland to Wellington via the back roads -> national park -> Wanganui -> SH1 to Wellington on the 12th.

Anyone heading the same way that day?

I'll be meeting up with Velox and VasalineWarrior + friends to head to Nelson on the 13th... so am looking for a bed on the night of the 12th and 15th when we come back.

If any of the Wellington crew free on the 12th evening would be great to share a meal with and talk stuff...

Perhaps even Skelstar can test ride a CB900 too :)

We meet at Mungaraki carpark, its at the bottom of Dowse Drive ( the street off the motorway up to Mungaraki).

It's impossible for me to start a sentence with a lowercase letter, or to type "Zapf & skelstar" at the start of a sentence. "Z" comes after "s" in the alphabet and it doesn't feel right to precede a noun beginning with "s" with one beginning with "Z". My hands are dirty. I have to wash them.

ok... as I am coming down SH1 I'll take SH58 at the Golden Gate across to SH2 then... would I be expecting heavy traffic around 5 o'clock?
