How fat are ya? I find the forks quite soft as standard (i'm touching 100kg) as a start i only have 2 lines of preload showing, Set compression and rebound to 1/2 way and go for a ride, also chuck a cable tie round one fork slider, try some braking (heavy) bit of cornering, see how it feels, chances are it'll still bottom out on braking, unfortnity my TL at a mates garage so i cant get exact settings for you but from memory i run comp damping quite high (slow) and the rebound medium-fast, it should be a pretty good base to start from, but it's really personal to how you yourself feel with the bike and your riding style, what works for me you might find horrible? Personally i think the front end on the TL with the right rubber is one of the better around. What tyres you running?
I'd also recommend dropping a 16T on the front, better low down punch, and wheelies are much better.

As LB said, the springs in those forks are very soft at only .74 kg. The TLR has .94 kg springs for comparison. Getting correct sag settings can be a pain for anyone over 70kg. Spending the money on a set of springs to suite your weight would be the best thing if you can swing it.

I was just lucky that the previous owner of my bike could have been my stunt double...same height, weight etc...didn't have alter any settings at all...
